I also had just assumed the guy was Spanish...well, "Basque" because don't dare call a Basque a Spaniard but you catch my drift. Easy assumption to make because the majority of Basque land and people live in Spain.
Actually makes me wonder if French Basques have the same hatred towards France that Spanish Basques have towards Spain. Topic for a different website, I'm guessing.
