Sensi is a very talented player. Should be a welcome upgrade over Valero for next season and the long run. He's no Tonali but he's fairly similar in style. Which means that we probably have given up on the chance to pursue Tonali.

Sensi makes sense if Borja, Mario, and possibly one of Vecino/ Gagliardini are on the way out. Young and talented player, I guess it's a low stakes gamble on how good he becomes, but we don't have to take buyout option if we're not satisfied.

We would still need another midfielder in addition to Barella (assuming he arrives). I would hope it's a big name/ someone who upgrades the quality of the starting XI instantly.

Have people who hate this transfer even heard of Sensi, let alone see him play? Probably not, which explains the reactions. This guy is really good....

Just gonna put this here as it'll be the most footage a lot of people will see and didn't even bother to check out:

I admit, this guy never caught my eye last season....if it wasn't for this Milan rumors, i would never know he existed.
My question is, the reports are he's gonna cost us around 26mil, for those who know him better and been following him, is that a good price for us?

I think he would be a good Brozovic sub but I hope he is not Barella's replacement. I know they are not similar players but our management have a habit of making these types of moves.

I really wished we got Paredes or Torreira but Sensi would do.

Torreira went to Arsenal for only 30 million and now Sassuolo want 35 million.

Oh boy... we really know the players we need to buy and when to buy them.

We're giving them Vergnani and a couple of other kids I think to reduce that. Depends on how much you think they're worth, but this 20-25m figure seems fair for a starter of a mid-table team.

Barella's deal is unaffected by this. We just found out a great option was available and took it. We'd regret watching him thrive at Milan. The issues are 'Inter pressure' and how the coach will use him. Doesn't strike as a leading personality but doesn't have to.

very decent.. the price is ok if it's 22+5M. My fear was always that Milan will grow this player into a Pirlo, he has good potential to be this kind of important player. And as i said im happy that we get some italian talents. Sensi and Barella are for sure important in the italian ambient, we will hear more from this 2 players in future.

Inter also needs creativity. Valero is getting too old and Joao is just poor, specialy this season he was hopeless.

Insensibile

The fact remains that ANY transfer in midfield is an upgrade.

Even though the cost looks a bit excessive to me i am ok with Sensi if he's our 6th option on midfield. He's decent Brozovic backup. I would have preferred Tonali and Paredes but Celino doesn't want to sell and Paredes wouldn't accept sitting on the bench. Anyway, we need Barella and a top midfielder on top of Sensi.

You want Barella, Sensi AND a top midfielder? It's not happening, wake up buddy!

I wouldn't be surprised if this Sendi guy is the only midfielder we'll get.

I am glad Marotta beat Milan and are about to sign Sensi. Keep the good news coming Marotta. The last thing anyone of us wants is to be humialted again by an aging immobile midfield in CL again.

Are you sure it was Marotta? I'm pretty sure it was Ausilio.

Apparently, PSG have made a very important offer for tonali.

Back on topic, it kind of pisses me off that sometimes we buy players not out of technical valuations, but also (or even mostly) because of financial reasons: first politano, with that option to buy on paper that in fact was a gentlemen's agreement for an obligation to buy later; now it's mist likely the same thing with sensi, plus the capital gain with the primavera kid.

And I wouldn't care if this lead us to buy top players, or even "just" great players, but unfortunately it isn't the case.

Good player in my opinoin! He is good at intercept, gover the ball and desent passer I think this transfer can be alternative to Barella? I see similarities in their playing, of course Barella push more with a ball and Sensi plays little deeper. Both are good with a ball and can control tempo!

I wish we could also land Barella, but it wont be suprise if we just get Sensi! We still have Gags, Radja, Brozo, Valero, Mario, Vecino!

It is still a good start and a wise move. Ausilio will tell Cagliariri Sensi is a done deal and Barella isn't a necessity any more. Panic transfers are the worst. Havig some decent cheaper players to replace our aging squad will allow Marotta to out muscle any club in signing negotiations. I am beginning to like him if the rumor is true. Even 9crap would be also rattled now because he knows his position isn't guaranteed any more.
