I don't even know what this discussions are about. You can whistle at other players, it's normal in sport. But monkey noises, personal insults against players and their family etc. is just disgusting.

I have personally insulted all of our players in the heat of the game... From fucking their moms, sisters, wives... To wishing all kinds of bad things when they miss a chance or do a stupid movie or a super stupid solo move...

Meh i dont have a problem with personal insults as long as everybody gets insulted if you call players of the opposing team sons of bitches without differentiating between whos on the receiving end then i would not see a problem. Let me put it like this if ultras were making monkey noises and throwing bananas at white and asian people too id not see such a big problem in it but fact is that only black players get that shit in italy.

I do feel like we cannot ban swearing from the stadium or insulting players, for god sake i m not sure how many times i ve called candreva a useless SOB when watching inter i also feel like football without emotions is not the same and when emotions are involved swearing is also quite often involved.

You probably did, and it’s probably commonplace. Every once in a while I might call some player a high-earning piece of crap. Yet I wouldn’t be able to take ownership of these words and most likely, if I were confronted by someone for saying that, I would likely apologize and feel like a piece of shit afterwards.

But personally insulting someone or their family members, wishing them death, referring to their race - this is, in my view, disgusting. You can talk about culture as much as you want. You can say that the point is not to insult someone or point out their inferiority, but rather to drive someone up the wall - it’s indecent regardless of the actual intent and should always be punished. We need to weed this behavior out of the stadiums. This is an unnecessary, intellectually lazy part of rivalry. Tifosi have a history of being creative in mocking other teams. There are great chants and banners for those purposes. I’m all for rivalry, I just think there should always be a limit for means of expression.

Even trash-talkers in boxing and MMA would never do that kind of stuff (bar Connor McGregor). They might personally insult the other fighter, but bringing up someone’s race - that might be the end of your career. And it should be. You should always bear in mind the consequences of your words.

The CN never ceases to amaze me with how fucking stupid they are. I know they're the heartbeat of the fans in the stadium and all, but who cares when they do things like dedicate their entire season opening tifo to honoring a slain lazio ultra capo fascist scumbag. Don't get me wrong, I don't celebrate his murder, but it has absolutely nothing to do with supporting the team (which is allegedly what they're for to begin with).

This open letter to Lukaku is beyond idiotic, it reads in the tone of a secondary school delinquent with even less capability for reason. I want to see action taken against the Curva honestly. It may cause some backlash initially but I think it would be worth it in the long run to strip their influence in the stadium.

I'm embarrassed yet again, but fortunately most interisti are nothing like the CN. Hopefully Lukaku realizes that and keeps his head up.
