Again i dont think that is the conversation we re having here or at least thats not what i m aiming at. All i m saying is i dont get where the confidence in him becoming WC comes from we ve seen a lot of more impressive young strikers in serie a who never succeeded/ reached the level fans expected them to reach.
He s young but he s not that young anymore he has this and maybe next season where he ll get some leeway because of his age and thats it.
On top of that Conte is not gonna bench lukaku there simply is no way he s gonna do that and imho a fit sanchez would deliver more then Lautaro does atm, so imho lautaro has to step it up cause if he loses that starting spot it s not gonna be easier to improve his game.
On top of that everytime i said i dont get the confidence some have in him the answers we re not football related or were a short video of nutmegs or some other fancy tricks which in 90% of the time lead to abso fucking lutely nothing.

So let me ask again what is it that Lautaro has except for the psycho look that shick el shara casano jovetic and balo did not have?

I hate that we cannot criticise one of our players for obvious deficiencies without people coming with stupid arguments like would you rather have eder.
I mean when i criticise brozo that he has to stop those mental lapses in order to be considred a true WC player it does not mean that i d rather have fucken kuz kuz back. Neither does it mean that i dont rate Brozo.
Should we just sit here and applaud our players no matter what?

I actually think we staled him a little bit with the lack of playing time he got last year. What he really needs right now is a full season of playing time. Whether what’s best for him is also best for inter is another story. If he gets enough playing time this year I think he could potentially have a breakthrough year at 23, which is usually when strikers really start to come into their own.

Fully agree which is why i say he needs to step it up if he loses his starting spot to alexis his progress is once again gonna be slowed down. Actually i d go as far as to say that if he does not make big steps this season we might even be in the market for a new CF next summer which again most likely wont help his progress.

Basically it s this year that he needs to earn the trust of coach and club in order to even be in a position to have that breakthrough season at 23 cause imho with his current performances he s not safe from sanchez and neither is he save from us getting a more high profile striker next summer to partner rom.

Lautaro indeed needs to step up this season. Specially stop playing his own game and start playing with the team. You can try the flicks when everything is going great (in terms of team play).

You are right is just frustrating to see him being bashed IMO he’s doing good but definitely needs to improve.

I just mentioned Eder cuz I don’t think Lautaro is as bad a they making him out to be.

meh....he got enough time last year. We didn't stall his development.

We felt more dangerous with Lautaro + Alexis than with Politano + Lukaku all game long. Attribute it on lungs or wherever, it kinda felt that it was going to be that way any day.

Unjust yellow card, unlucky shot that didn't go in and too much hustling. This guy is Inter personified
