not bad generally, I liked how he passed two times to Lautaro by mocking his opponent using left foot instead of just simply running to the end of the line and crossing like Candreva always does.
He is playing good in defence also, intercepted ball two times if I remember correctly and didn't allow Bologna for too many crosses.

However, he still has problems when he is back to the goal and his long ball to Biraghi was really bad. In this element of play Candreva looks better.

Encouraging offensively. Struggling to get rid of the ball, but I'll take it because he can go left or right in the attack and can beat someone on the run.

And to be honest all the mistakes were from that idiot tactic that forces the right back to play with the back , protect the ball and send a blind long pass forward.
It usually works with Candreva tbh but anyway it is a stupid tactic in the 1st place.

Overall he is much better then all the options we have in left put together. Created a lot of chances forward while backward (which is supposed to be his weakest point) he wasn't actually tested.

I thought he was one of our best players tonight. Dangerous going forward, stayed on his man and sent in some solid through balls and crosses.

He's a natural going forward. He did make some errant passes and seemed unsure of where he was supposed to be on the pitch for certain situations. With Conte's help and more playing time, that can be ironed out though. His pace is a valuable asset as he's by far our fastest wingback. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him.

Many people were complaining about him in the live thread but he looked decent to me. He certainly needs to work on his positioning but this isn't something that can't be fixed. I'd like him to get more playing time from now on. Certainly an improvement compared to the horror show against Sassuolo.

I've been very critical of him and one good game is not enough to change my mind. But - today's was a good game. Hopefully it's the start of a trend.

Too soon to pass judgement , has the right ingredients going forward , (shows confidence on the ball)
However needs work on his defensive game in order to be a complete wingback.

He seemed solid today and quite dangerous going forward. Hopefully it's just a case of him getting a slow start adjusting to life in Italy (and at a much bigger club), similar to Cancelo at the beginning. That injury in the summer definitely didn't do him any favors either.

Yeah, try him again against verona..

Last night, we still needed candreva to break bologna.. And he didnt have 90 minutes in him..

At least we could start counting on him, giving him more minutes..

He is still very young and we just bought him, he also played very well for his NT..

Let s hope he will improve for this league and for inter

So how many games have you seen from him so far? Beside that cold start in our worst game of the season and 20 minutes against Sassuolo?

I know he overall played more on the right side in his career, but doesn't he usually play on the left side for Austria? Maybe I misremember that, but yeah, he needs to play more at Inter to get some chemistry going.

I think he was servicable, this is what was expected from him, not a world class RWB, but somebody that will play against minor/mid opposition and perform good enough.

He always played on the right. For Hertha, for Salzburg and for Austria.

He has a lot of potential but needs to adapt to italian tactics and not be too careless in some situation.

I'm pretty sure he hasn't always played on the right. Maybe it was his main position, but just like D'Ambrosio, I know he played on the left in Germany here and there. Don't know why I thought he plays more on the left side for Austria, could be some highlights I saw.

Normally he plays on the right but in the last matches for Austria he sometimes switched on the left during the games IRRC.
