Man, seriously though, if we're going to lose just batter us 3-0 from the start. Don't show me this Klopp-esque counter-attacking masterclass and then forget how to do it in the 15 minutes of half time.

As always, it's the fucking hope that kills us.

Not surprised we lost, just surprised in the way we managed to botch it. It's November 5 and one of our objectives for the year is already in the gutter.

We need balls. It's as simple as that. Forget players, formations, fitness. We need a pair of balls, and it starts from the coach.

Squad Depth
Every sub conte has made this season has been generally positive. What do you mean by balls? Big Sam Allardyce balls? Emile Heskey balls? More yelling?

Any scenarios at this point assume that we have to win in Prague, which won't be easy. They've given all three of us a tough challenge this season and it's been commendable.

But, if Barcelona beats Dortmund, then we have the tiebreaker and can advance with a win over Barcelona (or just matching Dortmund's result home to Prague, which we must assume will be a win) knowing that the Blaugrana will have nothing at stake, with first place already clinched.

And if Dortmund manage an away draw like Prague did today? Winner-take-all game for us with Barcelona at the Meazza. The theatre of it all! Sign me up for that right fucking now. I know a draw is enough for Barça in that case, but we've already given them a very tough game in their stadium, and I have no reason to think why we can't do one-better in front of our home fans. As it is right now, this isn't the Barcelona we've all come to know and loathe. They're vulnerable, especially in away games.

(It's the same situation if Dortmund wins in Barcelona. It's either Barça on 9 points to our 7, or 8 points. Inconsequential difference.)

Either way, win in Prague in three weeks and we'll see how the situation looks then.

Beating Barca is not a problem..... If a game would end after 45 minute.

We've outscored our CL opponents 4-0 in the first halves of games, and been outscored 6-2 in the second half. Huge problem that needs immediate addressing.

Same shit different day.

Was like watching at 2 different Inter, first half Inter and second half Inter.
One is scudetto contender, one is relegation battler.
Pazza at its best.

Can't complain much, schedules and fatigue are pretty much hitting us hard, while having a bunch of shitty benchers.
Let's move on to the next game.

Embarrassing 2nd half. Just fucking brutal. Same thing that happened against Barca. Honestly, we aren't at a top-tier level yet and it shows. I'm disappointed af but what you can do?

Frustrating. You see glimpses of our potential in these games and yet we always bottle it in the end-- pazza inter style.

If we somehow end up third in the table and qualify for Europa League, I would suggest our management to broker a deal with UEFA and not to play in it, stating that we can not invest more due to FFP issues for quality squad depth. This current squad is not enough for league, leave alone competing in UEFA games as well. Why play in Europa League games, when the revenue from there is nothing, as compared to Champs League.

I agree totally with you. It was hurtful in the stands, too. In the first half every other German was looking at me like "WTF dude, wrong block. Don't cheer for Inter and then in the second half after every goal they were padding my shoulders.

Horrible second half. We need reinforcement in the winter transfermarket because imo those players are deadly tired.

Still choking on my rage.

Two polar opposite halves. The best of times, the blurst of times.

Idiots.

So what's the consensus on our failure in the 2nd half just like the barca game? Is it a merely our fatigueness or Dortmund coming into the 2nd half better adjusted to our style? perhaps both?

Its not fatigue. Mentality is the problem, individual mentality to be more precise. Brozo making a mistake is not acceptable, Brozo has played a world cup final for fucks sake.

Vecino clearly doesn't belong in the team, goal or no goal.

We do need new players.

Can't blame Conte for anything, can't blame most of our players. Just some individual errors that are avoidable. Very very Very avoidable.
