Similar to Brozovic, Eriksen actually covers a fuckload of ground too. That said, he's obviously not a defensive specialist either but he's not defensively useless like Ronaldo or Ozil or anything. If we got him, we'd be bringing in an elite technical midfielder with a top work rate too. People are talking about 3412, 3421 etc but IMO he could easily play the LCM in our midfield trio and we wouldn't necessarily have to change formation to accommodate him.

Why are we even discussing if Eriksen can fit in our midfield or not. Conte seems to be a fine coach and I am sure he will easily find a way to modify his tactics. The main question actually is if we can bring Eriksen to Inter and mainly for free or very less price - that would be a massive move.

Just imagine Sensi, Brozovic, Barella, Eriksen, ?? as our key midfielders !!

If we get Thomas from Atletico and Eriksen, I believe selling Brozović would be best.

Thomas, Sensi, Barella, Gags, Eriksen, Vecino, maybe Agoume is enough for 3 places in the midfield.

Arsenal planning £35million move for James Rodriguez... but the out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder favours deal with Inter Milan or PSG

The 28-year-old has made only seven appearances in La Liga so far this season, and is currently out injured with a knee injury sustained over the international break.

But despite Arsenal's surprise interest, James is keen to hold out until next summer after the Copa America, and also prefers a move to Italy or France over England, according to Spanish outlet ElDesmarque.

The report also details that Arsenal's offer of £35million falls short of the valuation of the player by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Perez is believed to currently value the Colombian, signed for £63million in the summer of 2014 after a standout display at the World Cup, at a minimum of £42m (€50m).

Like the player himself, Perez is also keen to wait until the end of the season when James' value could go up with a strong showing at the Copa America.

Rodriguez has started just five matches in all competitions and has not played since October 22.

It looks like we are gonna get pretty good midfielder(s). It helps that :
a) we are thin in a midfield
b) despite that, we are playing pretty good football, and other areas of the team work really well

So if a player is choosing a team, he can see that he will play regularly and have big ambitions too.
A lot will depend on whether we qualify from the group of CL or not.

Inter eye summer move for Lille's midfielder Soumaré: the details

While the team continue their excellent run so far this season, Inter are also exploring the transfer market for the future. In the Nerazzurri's target list there's also the name of Lille's midfielder Boubakary Soumaré, born in 1999.

The Frenchman, who was trained at PSG and has been selected for France U21 national team, had an expiring contract through June 2020. However, having recently signed an extension with his current club, the possibility that the deal could happen in January are very slim - also considering the potential costs od the deal - with Inter keeping an eye on him with a view to next summer's transfer window.

James seems perma-injured. Classy player when he's on his game and would be a massive addition to our set-piece game but no place for him under Conte even if he magically became a healthier player.

I like Kulusevski but 40m for him is madness. He was playing for Atalanta primavera last season. 3 months of good performances aren't enough to warrant such a price.
