Radiology Technologist. Currently working as a Workflow Manager at a Teleradiology company.

Other than Ed, is there anyone here whose specialty is health/medical?
I have MSc in Biomedical engineer, then PhD in a mix of Electrical Engineering/ Neurosciences then now postdoc in Neuroscience. But I am about to leave the field coz it is too painful to work during day and watch Inter at night :D Driving me crazy.

Considering working on a farm for a while to enjoy life :proud:

This could be a dumb a question, but what do you do when you have a degree in Neuroscience? I want to continue higher education, however I have no idea what I would want to study. I have no clear ideas about each specialty, but so far I’m considering studyinf MSc in Radiation Therapy or Echocardiography.

I understood that man. But what does it mean getting a masters in nutrition. What kind of subject do you read into(I know you said nutrition but what deepdiving into nutrition is there?)? It sounds really interesting.

Ah gotcha, my bad bro. Yeah it's definitely interesting if it's something you're into! The base of it is advanced physiology, nutritional biochem, research methods, and biochemistry of metabolism, and then later stuff get's into medical nutrition therapy (clinical nutrition), analyses of current literature, and things like that :D

It's two years to get the MS, and then 8 months supervised internship + an exam to become a registered dietician.

Research only, sadly. With the rate of 5 professorship per 100 lower-paid and life-unstable postdocs, I would suggest not to stuck into the loop of writing articles for the rest of your life and almost no one bother to read. Thats why I leave and choose peace.

You should spend time on looking into the industry market first, pick the subject which is hot and highly demanded.

Dude small companies are defiantly the best to start out in. People shit on them but my first job and internship were at a 10 person firm. Didn’t matter who was who. If something needed to get done you did it. The exposure was insane. I would review the work of the owners and all the high ups. When they would have meetings with clients they would bring me to everything. That is how I met my manager in private equity. The owners kept talking me up to him and we hit it off. He then offered me a job at his company where most the employees were from Ivy League schools.

Yeah definitely. Coming straight from university there is so many areas nobody else within the company has really touched since they were in school or university, which really puts me on a pedestal at times.

Plus everyone in the company has a large amount of options. If they get triggered im buying FIF

Getting paid by the state for being a university student. Worked at a convenience store for a while and had some jobs which lasted for 2 days to earn some peanuts. Other than that I used to be a sperm donor but I'm not viable anymore due to unhealthy habits.

Will obtain my MD degree in May 2020. In the US we do bachelor's degree for 4 years and then go to med school for another 4 years. Basically my college education is synonymous with the banter era, starting from Ricky Maravilla Alvarez and Gasperini to now. What a fcking ride.

I do hope as I start a new chapter in life, so do Inter this decade.

Forza Inter!
