I suggest we sell Vecino to the highest bid, as long as he has a resale value.

CdS report: Tonali wants Inter over Juve
Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali would, according to the Corriere dello Sport, prefer a move to Inter over Juventus.

The Rondinelle patron Massimo Cellino revealed he would like to see the Italy international remain in Serie A and as he was initially valued at €50m, the two giants are the most likely suitors in Serie A. Inter and Juventus have both been linked with the youngster this term and will have to fight it out for his signature.

But the price might have dropped due to the coronavirus emergency and the newspaper claims Inter are prepared to offer €30m plus one of their youngsters. The Corriere dello Sport writes that Inter are currently ahead of Juventus thanks to their ‘technical project’ and predicts that the offers from both clubs will be similar, leaving the player to decide his destination.

Tonali allegedly fancies the opportunity at Inter and finds the path into the starting line-up shorter due to the stern competition in midfield at the Allianz Stadium.

Not sure how reliable CdS is :yao2: but I do see the right "grinta" and passion in Tonali, so I think he would like to be coached by Conte.

Yeah, I've read about some interest from Everton for Vecino, and as of this morning from Milan as well

To be fair, it's understandable, he scores or assists every derby against them :work:

Florenzi confirmed he rejected Inter out of love for Roma.
Once the six-month loan with Valencia is over, will Florenzi return to Roma or look elsewhere?

“I honestly don’t know. We’ll see. I had always wanted an experience abroad and this opportunity arrived in January, after Fonseca had talked to me about his ideas, so together we made this decision that suited everyone. Roberto Mancini was also very open and said he didn’t mind where I was, as long as I played football.”

Florenzi had been very close to joining Inter over the last couple of years, but was committed to his hometown club.

“I didn’t just turn down Inter, but many other Italian clubs too. The most recent was Inter, when I was set to renew my Roma contract. I knew staying wouldn’t guarantee me the same kind of money, but you cannot replicate the emotion I felt at Roma. They told me to choose with my head, but I went with my heart. Every child has his dreams and I have to admit that so far I’ve made almost all of them come true. I wanted to play football, for the club that I supported, to become their captain, to play for Italy, score goals, play in the Champions League.

“The only dreams left are to win something important with my club, with Italy and to participate in the World Cup.”

Meanwhile hungarian talent Szoboszlai seems destined for Serie A, with Lazio and Milan being favorites to land him. Inter was also linked, however we seem to put eggs in another basket [Tonali, Vidal/Tolisso].

Atalanta have set their sights on KRC Genk wing-back Joakim Maehle, who is likely to cost them €7m. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has identified Maehle as the next key player in their squad should Timothy Castagne or Robin Gosens move on this summer.

He is a Denmark Under-21 international and will turn 23 next month. Maehle started 23 out of 25 Jupiler Pro League games this season, along with six appearances in the Champions League. Probably worth scouting, given the success rate of Atalanta transfers. :work:

Tolisso is injury prone. I would stay away from him. Especially for the price Bayern are asking.

Tolisso underwent another surgery today. We certainly need to stay away.

Highly doubt Inter can pay money for Tonnali.

Brescia can get a lot of more then 30 mil. I fit is there bidding war with Juve he will go to Juve.

I based the Vecino/Gagliardini thing purely based on probabilities and quality. Vecino is a better player than Gagliardini + Gagliardini is easier to sell, given his lower salary (so can be sold to lesser clubs inside Serie A).

Gagliardini easier to sell? I think it`s easier to sell the player that has actually offers, even though Everton seems more interested in Allan than Vecino. I didn`t hear anyone asking about Gagliardini...

Anyway, the good thing is Inter are prepared to invest in Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali after receiving approval from the club’s owners, the Suning group, according to a report from Sport Mediaset + Tonali seems to want to join us. I still remember the good work we did in advance for Barella, I have a good feeling about this footballer as well.

Inter legend Beppe Bergomi discussed with Italian journalist Giammarco Menga on Instagram, with the interview being reported in its entirety on Italian media outlet FcInterNews. Bergomi spoke about two players who have been linked with Inter, Sandro Tonali and Manuel Locatelli.

Tonali knows how to cover more roles, he can play as a trequartista like Nainggolan, even if for me the ideal role for him is a mezzala. Locatelli, on the other hand, I know him well. The time at Sassuolo has helped him, starting from his experience at AC Milan which has helped him a lot, he’s a very interesting player.”

In contrast with this, a report from FCInterNews.it writes that Inter are not prioritising the signing of Brescia’s Sandro Tonali due to having their sights set on another midfielder - Gaetano Castrovilli.

TuttoShit wrote that Juventus are hoping to be able to tempt Fiorentina by offering Rolando Mandragora whilst Inter could offer one of Dalbert, Radja Nainggolan or Roberto Gagliardini as part of a deal for the highly rated 23-year-old, who is having his breakthrough season in Serie A. The Italian national team midfielder, who has a contract with the Stadio Artemio Franchi side until 2024, could reportedly cost clubs in the region of €40-50 million but by inserting a player interested clubs could bring down the cash element of the deal.

Yes, easier to sell given his salary. Vecino is harder to sell given his salary. One rumor to Everton doesn't change the fact that Gagliardini is easier to sell in general.

Beppe Bergomi is a bit of an italophile, I like him but he’d probably play Andrea Poli before Eriksen just because the former is Italian. Difficult to trust his footballing opinions these days.

Inb4 haha Conte would do the same haha

Out of the three who is most likely to stay?

Vecino and Borja would be my preference to move as soon as the window is open. Gagliardini seems the best option to fill in the gaps and leave on the bench if he need keep 1 of the 3.

And does anyone know what the situation is with Nainggolan and Biraghi, if we are redeeming Biraghi's loan or how Cagilari will make Nainggolan permanent?

Rumours are that Torino want Gagliardini, and Inter want Izzo in exchange. Its a win-win IMO. Izzo is a decent solution for RCB, we don't have a specialist in that position.

I disagree. D'Ambrosio is good enough for the backup RCB role. It actually is the only position he can play in a back 3 formation. I would prefer someone for the LCB role as we only have Bastoni.

There is only 1 source to that: TuttoShit, which is being constantly recycled by sites in lack of anything else to write. I would prefer us to sign Kumbulla for the defence, plenty of desire and room to further grow.

So why bother posting this in here? None of our concern, really. Vidal is entering his final year in contract so we will get him cheaply + probably Tonali. This of course, besides the agreed Sensi & Barella fees we have to pay for.

I disagree, D’Ambrosio might act better as a RCB than WB, but he still lacks a lot for that position. His only best positon is RB followed by LB. nothing else.

Gazzetta dello Sport: Inter manager Antonio Conte wants Emerson Palmieri brought in to bolster the club’s full back department.
If Emerson, who has previously played for Roma and Palermo, is brought in, it is more likely that Victor Moses would stay opposed to Cristiano Biraghi. However, the report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that if Emerson is not brought in, Inter could go in for Barcelona’s Nelson Semedo and if he is brought in Biraghi would be more likely to stay at the club.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola: Inter are one of three clubs interested in signing FC Porto defender Alex Telles. Inter face competition from their arch rivals Juventus as well as reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain, who, as per the report, are ready to submit a €22 million offer for the Brazilian national team full back.
