This team lacks composure, we almost always have difficulty in controlling the match, we easily go into panic mode.

This is mostly on the coach.

That was huge Inter problem a long before the arrival of Conte. And i think it will took a while until he resolve this issue.

It's not like we did this much better last season or in seasons before in general either. It was a miracle from God himself (God, of course, being Danilo D'Ambrosio) that we escaped the final game of last season against a relegation side to reach the Champions League by a single point over a much inferior Milan side. We coughed up games and failed to put away others when we had the chance before. Maybe Conte deserves some blame for not having been able to patch that part of the team up yet. Maybe patching that up is harder than we all wish it to be. Because we so routinely fail to get those insurance goals when the opportunity is there; Gags and his miss is just the most blatant and obvious example because missing that genuinely looked impossible.

In the match against Sampdoria, the commentators stated that we had dropped 13 points up to that game. In light of the result against Sassuolo, we can now make it 15 points. That is shit load of points and highlights a real problem with mentality. As much as it hurts me to say this, yesterday, I had an unexpected respect towards Juventus because in most circumstances, regardless of how poorly they play, they usually always get a result. Inter have a totally different mentality and I personally think the club needs to make psychiatry, counselling, or mental health review appointments for the playing group because our players are struggling under the burden of past matches where we have inexplicably dropped points.

In relation to Conte, I thought about his heavy rotation and wondered what was behind it. Was it down to the fact that the likes of Brozovic and Martinez are carrying injuries and the anticipation of another game in three or so days time? Or was there another aspect to it? I thought it was unusual and could not help but wonder if it was also done to highlight the lack of depth ijn our playing group and the need for solid reinforcements.

To be honest, I realise that I am very much grasping at straws, speculating and honestly trying to work out the reason(s) behind our poor performance and how me managed to drop a further two points when the we had the result in hand in the 89th minute.

Where exactly is this on him? We were creating chances and we scored almost 4 goals. Conte is not responsible for individual fuck ups. For Gag to be a crippled scumbag or for Young acting like a bull in a china shop

We were creating chances and so did Sassuolo, and sure Conte is responsible, we are talking about a pattern not an individual match, for the umpteenth time We failed to protect a lead

Also he needs to kick Candreva's ass and make him pass instead of shooting, he should have passed to Lauturo but again he fucked up.

to be honest, I watched Candreva's opportunity few times and I think there was no chance to make a pass to someone. Maybe only to Skriniar who was a bit behind him. But he should score anyway.

Do we know if Inter actually employs a sport psychologist? I feel like it's quite commonplace in England but I've never heard of us having one.

Everyone does. It's usually a part timer, meaning they have a professional coming over at specific days etc.
We probably do not have a full timer.

No one can't deny that if not for conte we will not be seeing the likes of hakimi and erikson at inter.
Not the biggest fan of his tactics though

I'am a psychotherapist, and I would be more then willing to convince/motivate Ranocchia, Gagsy, to leave Inter.

It's the combination of Conte and Marotta. Moratta obviously has a great relationship from his juve days so will do everything to support him.

That being said we have done a lot for Conte that we didnt do for anyone since Mourinho.

Godin, Eriksen, Hakimi, Barella, Sensi, paying ridiculous money to specifically get him Lukaku and it doesn't even stop there as we may possibly get more top players and talents like Tonali, etc. We even got him some shitty wingbacks he wanted and he hasn't won anything this season (without Hakimi obviously).

With all that we've done he should definately have us fighting for the title next season and win a trophy. And this time let's hope he can take us further than the group stage or last 16 in CL. He's getting paid big bucks and getting the players he wants so he better start getting us results as this season has a been a disappointment and now we have Atalanta on our asses in fourth place.

The answer is Suning.
And I'd give more credit to Spalletti for bringing us back to the Champions League than anything else. I don't think Eriksen came to Inter because of the manager more than the club itself.

Suning and Spalletti brought us back to this level. Inter is a top brand name in the world of football that was unattractive to top players because of the crap level we were stuck in. Being back in the Champions League enabled all that and we are now back to normal.
Did anyone ever say that Ronaldo came because of Gigi Simoni?
Did anyone ever say that Vieri came because of Lippi?
Did anyone ever say that Figo came because of Mancini?
Did anyone ever say that Sneijder came because of Mourinho?

These top players come to play for Inter, not for a coach.
Nainggolan came because of Spalletti for example, he didn't view Inter at the time as an upgrade but just a change. These arenthe type of players that move because of a coach. Top players move because of the foundation in place, the club's history and brand name and of course the personnel that make it happen also deserve credit, but limiting to them is like believing that Inter is Udinese or Bologna and it's rare to see these things happening.

The world is just (almost) back to normal. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think Rano wasn't bad last couple of seasons. Not a world beater but was never a reason for losing points either. If you look at the fuckups of SDV that led to losing points you would think why is he still in the club, but he compensates them with his top class clearances, goals, and other contributions. Rano became a solid backup defender who is ok to be the 4-5-6th choice, I wouldn't get rid of him.

If Hakimi does come to Inter, Conte has no excuse for not qualifying to 16th round of CL ( if we qualiify) and not challenging Juve for scudetto.

I dont remember us having too many in game injuries. If the injury is outside the game then it is Conte's job to work with his team to prevent that or is it too much to ask a manager to supervise the fitness team? Maybe we need to pay him 15m.
