Bu Conte will need 1000 new players to win something... Because he is inept to have a plan B, im not talking formations, I'm talking about approach to games.

Those years we were still under settlement agreement. Spalletti in his 2nd year even had ZERO money (net) to spend (e.we had to go for Keita coz he was a cheap loan without obligation to buy).

There are shades of excellence in there, especially when he has support behind him. However, we should expect more.
Radja was the only difference-maker spalletti had in central areas, mostly because he too forced all of our attacks through the wing by politano and perisic. Most of radja's impact came from lingering outside of the area and pouncing on loose balls. I dont remember much of an impact building through the middle, but with such a good shot, it couldve been by design.
Spalletti Inter averaged a little more than a goal per game because we couldnt create chances, but he had execution in icardi and a reliable, safe defensive system. Conte's Inter creates way more chances, sustains pressure with an aggressive backline, but our conversion has been embarrassingly bad, and our defense collapses when we are under pressure.
Same shit so far, just looks a bit different.

Why you see any correlation between Keita and Vidal is beyond me. Keita was his only choice for attack because there was no better “option to buy” on the market. Barca asked 20m for Vidal lol.

But your point stands, I dont think Spalo really preferred Keita over Vidal. We were in a race for Vidal for a while but he chose barca over us.

Best Overall PosterYou're both right and wrong tbh. Settlement agreement ended in May 2019. Keita and Vidal cases were connected as we only had one non-EU spot left so we could only sign one of them. It was rumoured Spalletti had chosen Keita over Vidal. There were many rumours in that summer. Spalletti choosing Keita over Vidal, Inter having an agreement with Bayern over Vidal and then putting him on standby and of course the whole Modric fiasco. So not sure what to believe.

10 years of FIFNoone really knows, but fact is Vidal signed for Barca on Aug 3rd and Keita signed for us on Aug 13th so there's a big gap there. Again,as you said noone really knows exactly what happened..

10 years of FIFThe point is anyway it's unfair for Spalletti to do comparisons when he had much more limited budget. He got players yeah, but within the limitations.
Modern football isn't just about formation. I wouldn't call what we played last season modern football in any way.
