Tonali plays in the same role, so i wonder how our midfield will look next year.

Yeah, it's a difficult thing to do indeed. Brozo's work rate and specially his stamina, is immense. So even if we got a better possession player and more technical guy who can pass better and faster, can we find such player who also has the same work rate and stamina?

Would definitely want one, not sure who that would be.

Bennacer, if Milan fans are to be believed :einstein:

I think the people whop are expecting Tonali to come in and immediately be an upgrade on Brozovic are in for a reality check. I have been wanting Inter to sign Tonali since his Serie B days, but lets get real here - he is still a kid. Maybe in a couple of years, Tonali may grow into a Brozovic+. He is not there yet.

I repeat, Brozovic is criminally underrated here sometimes. He has been one of the reasons we have done well this season without a DM. A lot of work he does goes unnoticed, coz Brozo is not just our DLP - his main contribution is his workrate which is very useful in Conte's midfield pressing game.

The problem Inter have at the mo is that as they play now, our main midfield three (Brozo, Barella, Eriksen) do not make a complete midfield. One way to fix this is make Eriksen play more like Sensi. Even then, this midfield will not work against top sides, so we need options. Buying Tonali will give us a Brozo alternative, but not solve this problem. IMO we also need to buy a ball playing DM, then we have more tactical flexibility in the squad to rotate and can afford to play Eriksen in his more natural position at times.

with younger players, we should also take the judgement call right. If the team is good enough around them, we will still win, and its a great growing opp for them. This is why Conte took a few games to break Barella in, and then he got a good run in wheree we were winning regularly.

Exactly, this game shows why we can't rely on him and need a replacement. His touch even was fucking shit. No mental strength at all

I really hope they sell him. Too good of a player to play in this moronic club and to be a scapegoat for these stupid fans. Brilliant game from him. Not his fault rest of the team are not on his level. Plus, this coach is a moron.

Not good enough if we want to take steps to be a better team. At least bench him and get a better player. He's like a perfect guy for Serie A normal matches, anything above that, nope.

The second I see him and Dambro on the pitch I tend to expect the worst. Mediocr players have this habit of failing us but Inter never learns. Even dying Banega fights and has more skills than the two.

Bad game tonight, but he usually has these Gagliardini allergies. Whenever they play together he's shit. Brozovic needs his peers to drag him up, he's a player who adapts to the quality of his fellow midfielders. Playing with Modric and Rakitic and you think he's the engine of the team. Plays with Gagliardini and Vecino and you think he belongs to Serie B.

I wouldn't rush to sell him unless we can get a top player.

I'll always love Brozo but I don't understand the love he gets here by some people. He's a solid midfielder however he is extremely limited and often times plays terrible in big games. And his off the field problems are also a big issue. It's time for us to part ways or find a role for him on the bench. He's not good enough for where we want to be.

He's not a player who starts every game for a championship winning team. He's pretty much useless in the final third and isn't defensively strong enough to hold a midfield together. It's great that he can help us build out from the back, but sometimes that isn't enough.
