Does Allegri have favorite players in this world that he wants to have around all the time?

Hopefully he doesn't go ape shit if we don't buy him Alvaro Morata or something.

De Sciglio for sure as he had him both at Milan and Juventus. He also loved Mandzukic and Khedira at Juventus. Anyway, Allegri rarely complains about transfers in public. He didn't even complain when Berlusconi sold Ibra and Thiago Silva or when Marotta didn't get him the AM he had asked in order to use his favorite diamond. Though in his last season at Rube he was fired because he had disagreements with Paratici and Nedved about the transfer market so you never know.

We have tried many Italian coaches —Mancini, Pioli, Gasp, Conte, Spalleti, Ranieri and Mazzari —who have failed to win anything. It’s time to stop hiring a coach just because he is a native of Italy and can speak Italian to communicate with lazy Ausilio and Marotta.

If Conte does leave, I guess the only logical options are Allegri, Pochettino or Sarri. Its important for this Inter to have an elite coach. Out of these, I would be tempted to go for Pochettino, he plays that high intensity game that I like and I think what our squad are capable of. He will be a good fit, and already has Eriksen here. Sarri would need too many changes, he won't be a fit. Allegri could be a low risk appointment, he is adaptable but somehow I don't see him winning with Inter.

Obviously the best thing for Inter is if Conte stays. There should be hunger in the squad to win something next year, it will be great if we can continue with the project.

Pocchettino is not a good one at this point. He requires a project too and this super minimal preseason is not a good setup for it. He also has zero tituli.

allegri or poch would be my choice. Preference probably depending on salary.

He wasnt particularly great at Inter, he got the best out of a treble winning squad but in hard games he consistently came up very short

At this point I don't really give a shit if Conte stays or goes. Even if he stays, we all know we're going to be dealing with this same shit next summer. He's not a long term manager and wears out his welcome wherever he goes. I think both Poch and Allegi are far more likely to stick around longer term (as 'likely' as any coach can be at this club) assuming they don't completely shit the bed. In terms of available managers, I'm not sure when we're going to have any better options than this.

Since the knives are out for Conte, the only coach I've seen to be worthwhile is Rudi Garcia of Lyon. He won't leave. So it's best to stick with Conte another year and not some cast off who this forum will depise by Christmas.

If we do play 4 at the back I wouldn’t mind going with two DM so that hakimi can venture forward with more freedom. Either way I think Allegri has to be appointed as our team is good enough to win the league and he probably gives us the best chance of doing that. Beyond next season I have no idea though. Not sure I want simeone here anymore. I’m tired of having my eyes bleed watching us play.

Rudi Garcia? Did you sleep through his spell at Roma?

Allegri, as good as he is, will be another Lippi at Inter.

Poch does actually fit. But does he prefer a 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1. We just don't have the players for that. I'd like to see what he could do here but it's just not going to happen. With a few weeks only it's quite clearly going to be allegri

Thank god they only have less than a month to figure shit out otherwise imagine how long the management would drag this on

And why is it so hard to find a coach with tactical flexibility these days? We suffered from that on couple of occasions this past season couple of the bold ones being the final and the first leg against juve. I don't want him to leave it's just those little things that cost us big. Who ever is the coach of this club next season I don't care! Whatever formation we play I don't care!!!!! I just want the best fucking players we got to play in their natural roll . And no fuckin gags and cundreva anymore I can't take it.
