Could it be that they made a deal with Conte regarding the sigining of Messi? 'We sign Messi, and you can have your Vidal and stay put and provide continuity for our team'????? :closeenough:

Besides: RAC1 said Messi didn't partake at the trainingcomplex of the club and refused to test himself for corona. It seems Messi is not planning to train with the team any time soon.

He's been in confilct with the management since 2015, even before the Champions League. On December 2015 he was contacted by Manchester City and he was actually thinking about leaving Barcelona for the first time since Moratti came knocking when he was till a teenager. Maybe he didn't actively seek a move, but he definitely wasn't as happy there as before. The club changing direction completely didn't help either.

Conflict precedes that since Rosell & Bartomeu have long epitomized the Núñez conservative contingent of socis.

Writing has been on the wall since 2017 that he has demanded Bartomeu to right the ship but his end game was always to push Messi out. I'm surprised Leo waited this long tbh, testament to his love of the club

He won't wear blaugrana again as evidenced by his no show today of COVID testing - now it's ultimately about facilitating his move to City as has been speculated for some time

Are odds are somewhere between 0.01% and 5%. As long as they aren't zero, we can still hope.

La Liga announced the only way out of Barcelona for Messi is by paying his 700m release clause. Not surprised one bit. I still remember when these clowns tried to block Neymar move to PSG.

Actually I'm loving this case so much since soon they've lost Neymar, CR7 and Messi from their league. Fucking Spanish shit league. :trollol:

It is a long insightful article. The most shocking part is how bartomeu and co are allegedly more than happy to kick out Messi because his sale would instantly bail out their imbecility in managing the club's finance. All those transfer flops and overpaid players have already weighted down their finance so they decide to sell their legend. Simply genius :einstein::einstein:

Another interesting part is barto earns the nickname Nobita from Barcelona players due to their resemblance.

I don't think barto looks like Nobita, but his idiocy and ineptness surely mirrors the latter.

I have no idea who Nobita is or which cartoon he's from, but the likeness is there.

Javier Tebas  Fucking cretin accused us of "using tricks to sign Modric." We apparently planned to take legal action against him but I don't know what came of that if anything.

Isn't he also the one who was pushing for league games to be played overseas?

Ausilio said the magic words: we're not interested in Messi.

That means we're definitely interested

this should get most of you back into reality

Still no announcement?

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed the Nerazzurri are not in for Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi and said the Nerazzurri never entered talks with the Bluagrana about Lautaro Martinez.

Messi has asked to leave Barcelona and Inter have been linked to the Argentina captain, but Ausilio confessed it’s not a realistic move for the Serie A giants.

“There’s nothing about Messi, I don’t even know where these ideas come from,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “There’s no one in football who wouldn’t want Messi. But then there’s the reality of the facts.”

Shut the fuck up Ausilio

“All I can say is that seeing Messi at Inter is impossible, there has never been any negotiation of any kind. It’s only right to clear this up once and for all: Inter absolutely cannot afford moves like this, as the economic parameters are beyond our reach.

I hope this is the last time people talk about a negotiation that has never existed.”
