I’ll wait till October before I believe this move will have happened.

So we didn't budge over the "no transfer fee" policy until we did. Wasted a week there. Well, whatever.

Hopefully those bonuses are not several millions like with Rakitic (9m€ in his case).

Also it was reported Barcelona will pay part of Vidal's salary for the last season. I take this as golden handshake will be paid to Vidal (as he's not contracted to Barcelona anymore after the transfer).

500k€ is whatever but I don't like those bonuses to be any kind of meaningful figures in a case we win something etc.

Hopefully the bonuses pertain to winning the Scudetto, since we all know that isn't happening.

We should insert a clause into his contract that where Conte goes, Vidal follows. We all knew this was an unavoidable byproduct of hiring Conte but even still. I’m still having nightmares about being burdened with an army of 33 year old workhorses on high wages for long after Conte has inevitably quit. Literally the only thing that can possibly mitigate some of that cancer is to actually win the league for a change.

You can be certain the bonuses are millions.

Romano - Inter are expected to complete Arturo Vidal deal on next few hours [almost done by days - he’ll be in Milano soon] and are also working to sell Diego Godin to Cagliari on a permanent deal.

i assume those hour are in the 48-72 range.

Next 48 to 72 hours are decisive (again).

it's funny how they always write "already". Medical check "already" tomorrow. He's in Milan "already" tomorrow. Like the deal just started yesterday...

It's Tuesday now, which is close enough to Friday, so might as well take it easy for the weekend and we'll wrap it up next monday.

u guys should relax, he is coming for sure. what is the problem?
we should be concerned about not getting a proper left winger as we only have Young who can play there.

the problem is that we have a lot of players who can play there: Young, Kolarov, Asamoah, Dalbert, Hakimi, Perisić + maybe Darmian, so I think we won't buy anyone until Dalbert & Asamoah are gone.

asamoah and dalbert will be gone as u say. probably perisic too. kolarov is bastoni sub. and hakimi starts on the other side. so i count only on young.

According to Cadena COPE, Vidal has a private flight scheduled in the afternoon to Milan.

I laughed at this - funny `cause it`s true, it has been reported that we might have put Vidal transfer on hold.

Inter are slowing down for two reasons:
1. The first reason is Inter’s need to reduce the squad which is currently overcrowded [squad size now = 36]. Diego Godin, Andrea Ranocchia, Dalbert, Joao Mario and Marcelo Brozovic are all players who could leave the club.
2. The second reason is due to Inter needing to trim their wage bill given they would be taking on a big salary of €6 million a year by signing Vidal, so Godin will probably have to officially leave first.
