What worries me about this game is Lazzari on the right side. The guy is fast and with Caicedo also on that side we could have issues there, so we need to manage our LCB, LWB, LM to be able to cope with Lazzari, SMS, Caicedo. I would go with Bastoni - Young - Brozović

All the other areas of the pitch we are dominant, their back line is terrible, Marušić (yesterday worst player on the pitch probably) will have another hard day against Hakimi.

I can see us coming out of this game with a goal more than Lazio.

Is Vidal ready for this one? I'm genuinely curious as to what Conte's preferred midfield is if we stick with 3-4-2-1. How are the two players in front of the defence. He loves Vidal and Barella should not be benched. So is it Vidal - Barella and then Sensi in front of them?

I have a feeling he will choose Gaglia - Vidal - Eriksen for this match.
Vidal on Alberto and Gaglia to counter Savic on long balls.

Long ball to Savic is one of the main attack moves of Lazio so you either counter that with a tall midfielder or you assign one of the CBs to mark him on that.

Gagliardini is tall but he can’t jump!!! (remember how Luuk De Jong scored his 2nd goal against us in the EL final). His positional awareness is also horrible.

Not saying i like the idea just saying what conte will probably do.
He can't jump but for sure has higher chances of countering him on header than lets say barella or brozo.

Other option is sure to move forward Skriniar/Bastoni during GK goal kicks at least but honestly Savic is a beast in that department.

I'll wait until Sunday morning before predicting line ups, lets be honest its anyone's guess whats going on back of house.

I predict another 3 points, think we'll have to battle for these 3 points but once we get up a gear we'll win it comfortably, I can see 3 maybe 4-1.

I'll be at work ffs so I'll just see highlights on youtube and see Ant's reaction.

Atalanta won over Lazio thanks to counter-attacks, so I would follow their approach and start with strong defensive team, something like this:
Handa - Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni - DD, Barella, Brozović, Vidal, Young - Lautaro, Lukaku

Lazio have no bench, so we would have big advantage in second half and make an possible reversal with Hakimi, Eriksen and Sanchez.

You want to counter but bench the most counter effective player we have in Hakimi.

This is what I want to see Gaglia - Vidal - Eriksen; now we will know what Eriksen can do with some proper muscles around him, hopefully he gets himself some runners too.
As long as we play some REAL CB SMS shouldn't be a problem.
