10 years of FIFI dont really see how you can compare Sensi at the moment to, for example, the start of last season? He was pretty good in the first game this season IIRC, but pretty poor in the second. (I think I have that right?)
On the other hand, look at Lautaro, or Sensi last season, or Hakimi at the moment - very good and very consistent. They're clearly not on the 'same form' at the minute.
On the bright side, we've got a lot of good options off the bench if we need!

Lautaro makes lots of mistakes when he's on the ball, dribbling etc. As expected. Hakimi is largely just running onto balls and crossing, with a few 1v1s. He's not dribbling, holding, and playmaking. Those things result in more hot and cold.
Sensi beginning of last season was on absolute peak form and still made a few errors on the ball. He was also playing wide CM so mostly coming from deep positions to create vs being in the AM hole receiving the ball in traffic. On a side note, most of his best playing v Benevento came when he went out wide left like his old wide CM role last season.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFI'm not saying Lautaro doesnt make mistakes, clearly not, but he's been pretty good in the two games so far (except maybe first half vs Fiorentina). Sensi's form is averaging at best right now, dont get me wrong, he's been out for a FUCKING DECADE and needs time to really get back to form.
