I honestly have no idea what Fiorentina are trying to do. They're selling Chiesa and they want to bring Callejon and Deulofeu. Where are they going to play them in Iachini's 3-5-2?

maybe change to a 3-4-2-1 like roma? idk

More reason to hate Fiorentina. I cant believe they given Rube not one but TWO of their best talent away like candy. I hope Chiesa become Bernadeschi 2.0

It's even worse when you realize that their supporters absolutely hate Juventus, and that these kinds of sales are complete insults to those supporters.

So Juve had sold Mandragora to Udinese for 20m and now they got him back for 10m.

We did the same with Pinamonti. Quite possibly these are all plusvalenza fraud deals.

No, we didn't. We sold him for 18m and we brought him back for his buyback option (19m). Juve brought Mandragora back for half (more or less) of his buyback clause.

Of course they're both fraud plusvalenza deals. Just like our 31m deal for Bastoni with Atalanta buying our youngsters.

Source? All the reports I have read claim we bought him back for between 8m to 10m.

Not that it matters. These are all plusvalenza frauds anyway, and the accomplice clubs will be rewarded in some shape or form. For example, Juve have now loaned Mandragora back to Udinese for free :yao:

plusvalenza fraud is harsh, tbh, because in the mandragora case, udinese are OUT 10mil. You cant hide the cashflow. Unless Juve bought 10mil off them of other random kids in plusvalenza.

Plusvalenza fraud, imho, only really relates to scenarios where you do player exchanges - actual exchanges or implicit ones (like when we bought Bastoni at an inflated cost but got a lot of money for Bettela, etc, later/before)

I stand corrected. I had seen this article on Pedulla site:

https://www.alfredopedulla.com/esclusiva-pinamonti-base-di-intesa-tra-genoa-e-inter-per-il-ritorno-in-nerazzurro/

and i hadn't checked it further. The agreement is indeed for 8m plus 12m bonuses. You're right.

Pretty sure the bonuses are something which are easily triggered. Point is to push the payment and balance sheet hit further to the future.
