Don't have one.
UEFA is executing a new format for CL. They are increasing the number of teams from 32 to 36, playing in a mini-league format with 8 tops proceeding to the knockout round, the next 16 teams play playoffs for the rest 8 places for ko.

Purpose? Ofc to pour more money into their (UEFA) pockets. They nearly double the amount of matches (from 125 to 225). Big clubs will play more AND earn less, as the prize money will be shared for 36 teams instead of 32.

That is the main reason behind big clubs decision to push for their own league. Basically showing middle fingers to the greediness of UEFA.

Yep just read prize for winning cl is currently around 120 mil, prize for winning the sl is mentioned to be around 400 mil. That's the biggest motivating factor for all of this.

Also, latest news is all 12 clubs have jointly already prepared a legal response to the threat of a lawsuit for damages that uefa is planning. They sent a joint letter to infantino and ceferin in which they warn them of counter legal actions already pending to be sent to various courts across europe.

Serie A is also going to have a lawsuit against Agnelli and of course we'll be part of that along with Milan.

Agnelli pretty much sabotaged the new TV deal because all he cared about was this stupid thing. Italian government doesn't have the balls to do shit to him, but hopefully Italians will.

Anything from Curva Nord yet?

agnelli forcing our hand by making this come out publicly just after juve basically ruled themselves out of the scudetto. Guarantee if Juve were top of the league, they'd wait until the season finished.

The way I see it is this, despite the announcement, we’ve done nothing wrong that warrants a points deduction or expulsion from the league. All the clubs have done is announce that from NEXT SEASON not now that we’ll break away to a new ‘competition’. Until we actually participate, the Italian league shouldn’t be able to punish us.

i am pretty sure all of these 17 clubs will not wanna have anything to do with the 3 teams and will want everyone out.

Exactly correct in my uninformed view. If juve put out a statement saying they wanted to match fix, no one would do shit about it until they actually rigged a game.

Every club involved in this should be relegated in lowest division in their country.

Romano - After Borussia Dortmund statement, also RB Leipzig sources confirmed that they’ve no intention to join #SuperLeague in the next weeks, as SkyDE confirmed.

BVB CEO Watzke also stated that “FC Bayern and B. Dortmund have 100% compatible views”, both against the #SuperLeague.

Lol, even Red Bull said no.

Respect to Dortmund and Leipzig but tbh the big name of the country is Bayern. If Bayern also turn their backs to Super League then that would be massive and a big FU to this bullshit.

Now there is alot of noise and negativity surrounding this superleague, but in the end I p I redict most of the people will watch anyway.

Knowing human nature you are probably right. I myself, will not get up for a match at 6:30am in the middle of the week for an Inter match. My watching a match with will be more at my convenience and not a regular intervals dictated by the super duper league. Hell, may just watch the Mexican League...

How much longer until we see "the draft" becoming the main talent pipeline into elite level football? Disgusted.

I dont understand why people still bother with this pointless discussion. I'd hate ESL if we weren't invited, but since we are, I can't see how Inter v MU is more boring than Inter v Parma or Inter v Sassuolo, twice a year.

The real discussion now is CL is gone, can Conte do it in ESL? And can Mbappe play wing back? :troll:

Inter and their Super League counterparts have warned FIFA and UEFA that they are already pursuing legal action to protect their breakaway project, according to a US media report.

As per the Associated Press, the 12 clubs from England, Italy and Spain sent a letter to FIFA president Gianni Infantino and UEFA president Aleksandar Ceferin which explained they have already underwritten the project with funding worth €4 billion from a financial institution.

UEFA had threatened on Sunday that clubs could be banned from taking part in their respective league competitions as well as international tournaments.

“We are concerned that FIFA and UEFA may respond to this invitation letter by seeking to take punitive measures to exclude any participating club or player from their respective competitions,” the Super League clubs wrote to Infantino and Ceferin.

“Your formal statement does, however, compel us to take protective steps to secure ourselves against such an adverse reaction, which would not only jeopardize the funding commitment under the grant but, significantly, would be unlawful.

“For this reason, SLCo (Super League Company) has filed a motion before the relevant courts in order to ensure the seamless establishment and operation of the Competition in accordance with applicable laws.”

Inter are one of 12 leading European clubs who have confirmed they will be founders of the new league, along with fellow Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus.

The league also includes six Premier League clubs – Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool – and three La Liga teams, namely Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

20 teams will participate in the Super League, as per an official statement last night, with 15 founding clubs and five clubs who qualify for the tournament each year via league position.

The Super League is expected to hold matches in midweek while the teams continue to take part in their respective league competitions at weekends
Don't worry. They won't take our ( or Milan's) scudetto so easily.

Spot on. Though, unlike this move, people would be 100% not surprised :trollol:

The irony is that all this is just the greed of PL clubs, while Perez and Agnelli just want to pretend they are in a big boys table rather than a place where they are respected through fear & hatred.

Teams like Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have only to gain here as they suck and have no real ambitions. Liverpool's owners pretty much conceived this with some help. Chelsea and City are like fuck it, "fomo", whatever.

So they are thinking that PL money is going to drop significantly over the next seasons (deal expires next season iirc) with covid affecting a lot of the finances around the sport, so why not replace Burnley with Real Madrid, Bournemouth with Barcelona and Crystal Palace with Milan? Larger fanbase -> more money.

That's the core principle here.

They don't care if the games will be played in Singapore, Madrid, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Mexico City, Los Angeles, New York or Toronto. It's all about the tv money. Some sucker will pay that.

Dazn revenue is less than $1bn now iirc. They are offering 3.5bn annually allegedly. That's going to collapse them. JP Morgan cannot lose here, someone will end up paying them back within a few seasons and it's not like they care about the long run.

All fans will be initially interested to see how this plays out. It's going to be a novelty and people will be tuning it whether they like it or not. Eventually the following will diminish and if we assume they change nothing, it may even fail. They don't care if Inter fans will not attend at the Meazza. New Inter fans will emerge in Asia, Africa and the Americas. Then they'll flock in here

for the tldr; crowd all you need to know is: Fuck Suning, fuck EPL, fuck UEFA.
