They call us the 'Dirty Dozen'.
Thanks Suning for making us be part of a group with 6 shitty PL clubs, Juventus, a vulture fund that owns Milan and the Spaniards...

Truly, the Darth Lord Agnelli is behind this disturbance. A devious plot certainly, and one which coincides with our return to dominance... do not trust a zebra!
Evidently young Master Zhang has fallen under his influence. Fear for our future, I do.

Did small clubs in Serie A protest this because they not included in BIG money project ESL or any other reason behind this ?

Did UEFA angry because ESL will exclude UCL from big clubs, in the end UEFA only get few money from tv rights .. or any other reason?

I just thinking this is battle between Greedy people vs Greedy people

"Fixtures will take during midweeks to allow clubs to still participate in their domestic leagues. "

"Games will be played mid-week, and all clubs will remain in their domestic leagues."

Um....what?

Yes, that's the intention of the Super League.

I don't mind 60 minute games, if it reduces injury risk tbh. And then let playoffs be 90 minutes. That is if this is actually played midweek, and they're not banned from competition.

it may be the end of football as we know it

Somehow, this is going to result in us not being awarded the Scudetto. 100%.
Us now winning the scudetto because we are apart of this is hilariously the most Inter thing that Inter can do to itself. It's fucking hilarious in a brutal way.
This can never go right. And for us to participate in this just right when we finally gained the fruit of our hard work throughout the years and about to win the Scudetto for the first time in years, makes it even more idiotic.
I can't fucking wait to see what the FIGC's punishment for the club is  I'm expecting the scudetto to be taken away, or at least enough points taken away from Inter, Milan, and Juventus to put us out of the CL spots
The FIGC will dock us points as a penalty for committing to this to ensure we don't get the Scudetto this year :proud:

then

FIGC says no action will be taken with regards to the current Serie A season.

And thank fuck for that.
I can only imagine Marotta was smart enough to perform his due-dilligence before signing up to this shitstorm, had his team of lawyers look into it from a legal perspective.

I don`t think we risk this season`s scudetto, but it may be the end of football as we know it.

agnelli forcing our hand by making this come out publicly just after juve basically ruled themselves out of the scudetto. Guarantee if Juve were top of the league, they'd wait until the season finished.
It`s probably more related to the fact that they risk not qualifying next year, which would be a huge slap in their face with Ronaldo in their team.

Agnelli has always been the enemy, so we must think hard of how we ended up being on the same boat with them... [INB4 "this is where you get when you invite the mobs to run your club"].

Supporting Inter because we represented certain values (that others did not care for any more), such as fighting against discrimination and racism, supporting equality of chances. Sorry but this is just discriminating smaller clubs, which is the rest of the sport.

Horrible. This has huge American influence on it, that kind of sporting model doesn't belong here.
Yepp, it has money written all over it. JP Morgan and a deal of €4bn.

It`s like the official statement that football is not sports any more, it`s just a product to generate obscene amount of revenues, but only for some priviledge clubs. Which I`m not OK with, you are not OK with, but people like us seem to be a dying breed.

But this closed super league bullshit is just DISGUSTING. Please no to this american sports model.
Seems like I`m on board with the majority of active posters here on FIF: participating in a guaranteed competition where money is king has nothing to do with values of sports. I`ve been enstranged to what football means today and slipping towards giving up following this business completely, if this goes through in this format.

They clearly don`t care about ULTRAs or fans, either, because it will just be a generation change that they are comfortable with. We may give up following it, but younger ones will follow, just like on social media. I believe this is a calculated risk they are willing to take for the sake of money. More and more spectators are being brainwashed by the brands, to blindly follow the clubs no matter what.

What is interesting is IMO what will happen to the product if all the tradition and the history is stripped away. Ultras and the fanbases at least in Italy are very core part of the club and the culture around it. Just making the product for TV watches with stadium full of tourist fans is very disgusting scenario I'm seeing being totally possible.

Can the players get the same emotion as they've done now, when there are the real fanbases which you are basically accountable to? If it's just pure entertainment without any real connection to the fans, how good the product will actually be?

I feel this is what the americans will never understand when they've been bringing these stupid fucking closed league models to Europe.

Pep Guardiola about the #SuperLeague: “Sport is not a sport when the success is guaranteed, and when the relation between the effort and reward don’t exist. It’s not a sport when it doesn’t matter if you lose. It's not fair if teams fight at the top and cannot qualify”.
“This situation of the #SuperLeague has to be clarified and why they have taken these decisions. Why is Ajax not involved with all their success?! Explain this...”.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis denies the rumours about the invitation in the #SuperLeague: “JP Morgan, who’s him? I’ve not received any call yesterday night... I was sleeping”.

Ultras and the fanbases at least in Italy are very core part of the club and the culture around it.

ultras or hardcore italian fanbase are ignored for years, fe they never wanted more foreign players

Y'all need to calm your dicks and/or pussies(if there's any here) down. Trust me, this ain't gonna happen. Atleast if it does, it won't sustain for a long time. I am calm as a corpse about this. There so many reasons not to cause a worry for about this, reasons which you apply little common sense, you'll be sure of. Like I said earlier, it's just a political tactic to for the hands of uefa into meeting some of the demands of these twelve clubs with regards to uefa competitions and European football general. I think you people are wise a enough/have grown to know about this. I am sure a lot of have come across this kind of issue either in the news or has happened in the political system of your countries/state/anywhere or even in your household, Were a small group of people threatens a countries government into meeting their demands through initiating violence. Niger-delta youth violence against Nigerian government, where youth of the region engaged in criminal activities (banditry, terrorism) to force government into meeting some of their financial demands, now they've been given amnesty and some financial grants. This has shut them up. This is a fine scenario to the one of ESL.
Why this ain't gonna happen? . This is like "us versus the world situation", can you compare the power of only a small group of clubs against the world- majority of the fans, Uefa, FIFA itself, national governments,(UK and French), the media. Do you really think their decision can usurp that of all this powerful entities? C'mon guys, it's just too much for them. Secondly, even if they go on, establish and start the competition, it won't last for long due to heavy sanctions that will be laid upon them, they won't be able to survive these. Imagine the clubs not playing their domestic leagues, participating players banned from international tournaments. This is very unsustainable. Thirdly, even if established, the repercussions that will come after will ultimately end up on these clubs in the long term, and they know that in mind. Imagine the death of european football if this goes on, of more than 30 European countries, there will be little broadcasting money, investments, sponsorships and ultimately little finances, all as a result of this ESL. The majority of football fans will then no more be watching football coz most of their clubs are now dead, if this happens where will ESL get the fans to sustain those amount of money.
Another reason to know that these are just pressuring tool, like a boycott, If really they wanted the ESL why did they not go straight ahead and establish it years ago?, why did they have to be consulting uefa in previous years to find a satisfying solution to them? Why did they release their intentions a day before the submission of new ucl format proposal? Why did have to deny this happening in previous years when speculation was surrounding and when they were asked?.
This reasons are just enough, can't you see. At the end of the day it will be a table meeting where a solution will be found. I am 100% sure of this.

If we remain in Serie A and don't get kicked out, seriously what is the problem? The Champions League and Europa League will still exist. Napoli & co. can still qualify and make money. They also added the Conference League or whatever the fuck it's called. There will be plenty of opportunities for clubs to play European football and earn money.

People are living in the past. Perez reiterated what I stated earlier. Football ain't what it was. Things need to change. Change up the format. Shorten the games to 60 minutes. Americanize the fuck out of it. Have some awesome half time shows. Play around the world.

We still have the domestic league for "traditional" play. Just recognize this isn't 1999 anymore.

Jordan Henderson has called an emergency meeting with the Premier League captains to discuss a response to the Super League .

Claudio Ranieri: “It’s very sad for me... #SuperLeague is so bad, I hope UEFA will stop them. Leicester story was something special and we’d lose these stories. It’s not just about football, I remember the feeling between Indian and English people celebrating #LCFC together”

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi against the #SuperLeague: “We will continue working with UEFA. PSG have the firm belief that football is a sport for everyone. I have been consistent on this point since the very beginning”.
