Bundesliga is the best league in terms of the modern era, but the issues with Bayern winning every year for almost 10 years now is killing the league.

There's the issue that there's no eastern German representation apart from the Berlin squads (not really qualifying for 'east') and the Red Bull team. Would be great to see Magdeburg, Dynamo Dresden and Hansa Rostock in the top flight. And of course teams like Hamburg, Schalke, Nurnberg, Hannover, Kaiserslautern (heading for 4th tier ffs), Fortuna Dusseldorf and TSV 1860 Munchen are missing.

It's one of those places where you can see that people really love and respect the sport. Whereas in England, you do have the love, but the respect is definitely not there and they're a bunch of hypocrites pretending that they're not sellouts when 9/10 teams up to the 3rd tier are sold to people who want to turn them into profit machines...

That's why I never really embraced the Bundesliga, it's always Bayern......when I did watch it was always Schalke from when I first got interested in football. Now Schalke is going down.

According to multiple sources, Julian Nagelsmann has an agreement with Bayern and he has asked from Leipzig to terminate his contract. Leipzig are expected to get around 25m from Bayern in order to let him go. Leipzig sporting director, Markus Krösche, is also set to depart the club. His next destination could be Eintracht who are looking for a sporting director after Bobic decision to join Hertha.

They spend the money they get from transfers so frustratingly well. I'd like to think that the sporting director part of that will be a big loss, but I'll have to see it to believe it. Until then, I'll expect Leipzig to sustain and get by.

To be fair it seems all Red Bull clubs are run well, as the sporting side of Red Bull is very successful. Their sporting director will be a big loss and might set them back but I think they'll be back in a few years.
