Inter get 60m approx with CL etc for winning serie a. Norwich will get 210m for getting promoted to the Premier league. Super league say wa

I'm fairly sure Parma get more for being relegated than we do for winning the Scudetto  EPL clubs acting high and mighty about the Super League is utter, utter bollocks. They already are a super league.

On top of all it's continually reported that English clubs will be dealt with most leniently by Uefa, while Inter, Atletico M. and Milan are somewhere in the middle. Juventus, Real M. and Barcelona will be most severely punished. Financially. While also FIGC plans some other actions against ESL founding clubs. Hopefully they don't go as far as taking away our title.

Love to figure out just why that is. Get the least rewards for joining, get punished the most among teams that clearly cut ties to do with anything about it...great negotiations, Zhangs.

Punish the leagues that are economically furthest away from super league and let the English super league be fine? Now I'm just thinking its the FA owning Uefa

It's not EPL's fault other leagues are trailing far behind as far money and marketability goes. Don't be jealous, it should aspire other leagues to do more.

And yet most of their top teams are even more in debt than us. Only ones that aren't are money teams like City/Chelsea.

Chelsea is in debt, to Roman Abramovich. He'll only call on that debt if he leaves. That debt is over a billion actually.

its not about any "marketability"

this league was build on chelsea and city money alone, thats all.

you cant sell a product like inter, roma or napoli without that kind of money

and we got only suning.

The league was built by selling every club to foreigners that wanted somewhere to hide their money. Some people prefer ethics.

Yep. Gary neville annoyed me so much. That fucker took over a local club and changed everything about them even the colour of the kits. He's on sky defending fans. Where was he last year when they were going tk charge 15 quid to watch a game? Fucking hypocrits

Doubt they'll take away the Scudetto from Inter, expect some hefty fines on CL and Europa league monies on the teams involved from UEFA. In the UK will be interested to see what kind of rule changes come down from the EPL along with some kinda of monetary fine. Expect a slap on the wrist from the Spanish and Italian governing bodies, they are owned by the breakaway clubs. And so it goes......

Apparently because the EPL clubs pulled off first and Inter was after them. Which is weird because the English clubs pulled off only after the threat of domestic political sanctions and nothing else.

That would be stupid bullshit. The clubs that withdrew all did so on the same day. There were no qualifers saying "first six to withdraw get more lenient punishment", and I'm pretty sure Atletico was reported as pulling out before Liverpool and Man Utd and the two North London clubs announced their intentions (I don't know where specifically we fall into that part of the timeline).

The way that report goes - which I suppose hasn't been confirmed yet so we don't know if this will be what happens - would just be more blatant English pandering by UEFA. I would have a tiny shred of respect for them if they at least admitted that much.

UEFA approves reintegration measures for nine clubs involved in the so-called ‘Super League’

Friday 7 May 2021

The matter of the other clubs involved in the so-called "Super League" will be referred to the competent UEFA disciplinary bodies

UEFA via Getty Images

In a spirit of reconciliation, and for the good of European football, nine of the 12 clubs involved in the so-called ‘Super League’ project submitted to UEFA a ‘Club Commitment Declaration’ setting out the position of the Clubs, including their commitment to UEFA Club Competitions as well as national club competitions.

UEFA convened an Emergency Panel of its Executive Committee, which took into due consideration the spirit and the content of the Club Commitment Declaration and decided to approve various actions, measures and commitments made by the clubs. A formal confirmation of the commitments and the manner of the clubs’ reintegration and participation in UEFA Club Competitions has been agreed between and signed by UEFA and those nine clubs. The approved reintegration measures are full and final.

Those nine clubs acknowledge and accept that the Super League project was a mistake and apologise to fans, national associations, national leagues, fellow European clubs and UEFA. They have also recognised that the project would not have been authorised under UEFA Statutes and Regulations.

In particular, each club:

  • unreservedly acknowledges and accepts the binding nature of the UEFA Statutes
  • remains committed to and will participate in any UEFA Club Competitions each season for which that club qualifies on sporting merit
  • will rejoin the European Club Association, which is the only representative body for clubs that UEFA recognises
  • will take all steps within their power with a view to terminate their involvement in the company established to form and operate the Super League and cease any existing related legal actions
  • as a gesture of goodwill, and together with the other clubs, will make a donation totalling an aggregate of €15 million, to be used for the benefit of children, youth and grassroots football in local communities across Europe, including the UK
  • will be subject to the withholding of 5% of the revenues they would have received from UEFA club competitions for one season, which will be redistributed
  • agree to have substantial fines imposed if they seek to play in such an unauthorised competition (€100 million) or if they breach any other commitment they have entered into in the Club Commitment Declaration (€50 million)
  • will provide individual commitments to UEFA in which all the principles and values set out in the 2019 Memorandum of Understanding between UEFA and the European Club Association are accepted

Going forward, the clubs are fully committed to the new post-2024 Horizon reforms. At the clubs’ request, UEFA will ask and support that due consideration be given by their respective National Associations and National Leagues to the spirit, content and purpose of the commitments given by the clubs to UEFA.

The UEFA President, Aleksander Čeferin said:

“I said at the UEFA Congress two weeks ago that it takes a strong organisation to admit making a mistake especially in these days of trial by social media. These clubs have done just that.

In accepting their commitments and willingness to repair the disruption they caused, UEFA wants to put this chapter behind it and move forward in a positive spirit.

The measures announced are significant, but none of the financial penalties will be retained by UEFA. They will all be reinvested into youth and grassroots football in local communities across Europe, including the UK.

These clubs recognised their mistakes quickly and have taken action to demonstrate their contrition and future commitment to European football. The same cannot be said for the clubs that remain involved in the so-called ‘Super League’ and UEFA will deal with those clubs subsequently.”

The following clubs are covered by and have accepted these measures:

  • Arsenal FC
  • AC Milan
  • Chelsea FC
  • Club Atlético de Madrid
  • FC Internazionale Milano
  • Liverpool FC
  • Manchester City FC
  • Manchester United FC
  • Tottenham Hotspur FC

In addition, and moving forward, UEFA has reserved all rights to take whatever action it deems appropriate against those clubs that have so far refused to renounce the so-called ‘Super League’. The matter will promptly be referred to the competent UEFA disciplinary bodies.

Now imagine what will happen to the other 3 clubs. At this point i really believe that this top 4 race is already over, Juve will get a penalty and will not take part of the next CL

Well if Juve, Barca and Madrid get a heavy punishment then at least some good will have come from all of this nonsense.

Fuck UEFA. Seriously. Cheat, obfuscate, conceal, bribe, whatever the fuck PSG did, that's something they can live with. Ceferin actually dared to praise them.

Not gonna shed a tear for Rube or Real, though, fuck them as well.
