Congrats for the cup. I watched the game. You could have scored even more. Terzic has done a decent job considering the mess he inherited from Favre. Especially if you manage to finish in top 4. Perhaps your board made a hasty decision when they decided to hire Rose and they could have given a chance to Terzic instead.

Last week they got just a draw at home against Mainz while today they managed to lose at Gelsenkirchen against a relegated Schalke. Now they need a miracle to qualify.

But it's not over yet. Anything less than 2 pts in the last two games and we could be in trouble.

Ever since i said this, Eintracht are doing everything they can to prove me wrong.
Last week they got just a draw at home against Mainz while today they managed to lose at Gelsenkirchen against a relegated Schalke. Now they need a miracle to qualify.
I really do rate Hütter as a manager, but I'm almost to the point of thinking that I would've rather left him and Frankfurt alone - if possible, at least; it sounds like he was likely to leave no matter what - if it meant them qualifying for the CL and Dortmund not. You can imagine that it doesn't please me that much that Rose will inherit a Dortmund team that managed to rescue it's season, win the Pokal, and will end up in the Champions League after all when it looked like well into April that there was a real chance they would fail to qualify this year. Not thrilled at all that Rose is going to get those plum benefits after all.
And speaking of Gladbach, after today, they have now lost 22 points from the second halves of games this season where they were leading. 22 points! Inter was awful about this last season, and even then Inter only lost 18 such points. And that's not including the two Champions League games that Gladbach ended up settling for draws after leading with only minutes left to play. 26 points altogether when you add those in.
Yet, the three lost points today are actually beneficial. With the loss and Union getting a draw against Leverkusen, Gladbach now sit 8th instead of 7th in the league table. That's the difference between avoiding the Conference League, and being stuck with qualifying for it. Union qualifying for the Conference League would be a great achievement for that club and would definitely be celebrated by their fans. Gladbach in the Conference League? GOD PLEASE GOD NO! Complete waste of time and energy. I would 100 times rather play a domestic-only schedule vs. play in that g-ddamned competition. Hopefully Union can win next week and clinch that 7th place spot altogether.
But boy is it madness to think that, even with *only* 11 lost points instead of 22, that Gladbach would've actually still been in the CL race. For comparison, they only lost four points in such a manner last season. The difference last season to this season truly has been astronomical. Next season is going to be better only because it would honestly be impossible to be this bad again. At least, that's what I'm going to tell myself.

It will be fun to watch Schaaf coaching Werder again even only for nostalgia reasons. They currently sit at 16th place and they are at real risk of getting relegated.

It's possible actually, Koln should beat Schalke. But Werder beating Gladbach will be tricky even if they're playing for nothing. Stuttgart vs Bielefeld, not sure if it's doable odds are as similar as with the Werder game.
But it'd be an intense season in the 2nd division.
Imagine: Schalke, Hamburg, Werder, Koln, Nurnberg, Hanover, Hansa Rostock, Dynamo Dresden, 1860 Munchen (hopefully those are the three that go up), Fortuna Dusseldorf, St Pauli...
That'll be the best ever 2.Bundelsiga ever

Seeing a Nordderby between Bremen and Hamburg in the 2. Liga would be strange ... But Bremen was often lucky in the last years.
