Perhaps it has to do with his current contract at Juve. Or maybe he wants to have a squad overhaul and we aren't willing to do it.

10 years of FIFI think it is bullshit. Sarri needs to be the one considered at this point. Who gives a shit that the team doesn't fit him perfectly? He is not an idiot, he can figure it out.
I mean for God's sake, he literally took over from the same exact manager 3 years ago and did fine with Chelsea. Took them from 5th to 3rd and won Europa League. Chelsea didn't give him a chance. Bring him in, let him keep us in the top 4 and then we can slowly build the team he wants.
At this point, I am fine with staying in Champions League next year as a goal. I do not think we will be able to sign a top level manager that can realistically keep us fighting for the Scudetto next season.
Sarri has my vote.

I don't think so. I think he signed a 2 year deal with an option for the third year. It expires this year and Juve will pay a penalty of 2.5 million for not extending for the 3rd year. So they can terminate, pay the fee and I think he is free to go.
Actually the more I read, they could have paid him off the 2.5 million in March, so he may already be free.

He simply said cost seems to be the issue and that he was making 6 million at Chelsea and Juve. Doesn't really say what he is asking for.
I cannot see him passing on Inter with an offer of 5m or more. I still think he is the only reasonable option.

Yeah. It doesn't make any sense. Pedulla, who is very close to Sarri, had said yesterday hiring Sarri would require Inter to make many changes. Sarri probably doesn't want to end up in a similar situation with Juve in 2019. He would ask for players who fit his tactics. Perhaps they had disagreements over the project.
