I'm being optimistic here but Inzaghi's rumoured contract would end the same year that Simeone's does at Atletico.

Sergio #Conceicao will extend his contract with #Porto until 2023.

So its Allegri to Juve, Inzaghi to Inter, Spalletti to Napoli, Gattuso to Fiorentina, Juric to Torino and perhaps Mihajlovic to Lazio.

Seeing how we don't really have money this is probably the best choice. Don't like it, but I didn't like Conte's appointment a.k.a. wanted Spalletti to stay for one more year. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Some of you are being ludicrously harsh on Inzaghi. What he's done with Lazio is extremely impressive.

He's a whiner? Have you guys seen one Antonio Conte?

I think some of you are falling into the trap (that I have also regularly fall in) of expecting others to do our jobs for us, and being disappointed when they dont. What I mean by this is that I'm the first to be utterly furious when Inzaghi threw the game against Milan. Naturally, we're all hoping Lazio does us a favor and beats our rival. Who doesn't love to see Milan or juve lose? Who doesn't hate Napoli right now because they choked on matchday 38?

For example, at San Siro, Lazio had all the second half momentum against Milan but then Inzaghi subbed off his best players in Immobile and SMS for some Eccellenza level shitters in Muriqi and Akpa Apro. Milan ultimately won the game. Hmm. Sound familiar? (e.g. only the 40 times Conte subbed on Gagliardini or Kolarov)

Can I ask have you seen Lazio's bench? Don't get me wrong, it pissed me off to see Lazio go down so easily to juve this season but realistically, come on. How about our own fucking dogshit performance at Turin? Disliking Inzaghi for this is one thing, disregarding him as a coach for this is ridiculous.

Don't mistake this post to be "support" for Inzaghi. Obviously he's a downgrade. Obviously I'm disappointed by the situation. But Inzaghi is not a bum. He's easily a better coach than the likes of Gattuso, Pioli and fucking Pirlo. (Don't even want to mention Mihajlovic or Zenga)

Better than Conte or Allegri? Of course not, but if (or when) we lose to juve this season, we can safely say the manager has been put in an impossible position to compete to even begin with.
You remember it wrong. Inzaghi didnt take SMS Immobile for Akpro and Muriqi. But two DMs to protect the DRAW. That was why I called him coward. Bench quality excuse what? Just keep them on and seek the winning goal.

Muriqi was before, when Correa was injured and they still needed goals.

Btw I wont dig into criticizing his past mistakes too much now, as he is our new coach.

I am extremely pissed at this. We could do a lot worse, but also a lot better. At least take a chance with Sarri. With Inzaghi, our target will be a top 4. Surely he isn't expected to win the title. If that's the case, why not also move to a better style of play with Sarri.

I know Inzaghi is decent tactically, has punched about his weight there, won a Coppa, and generally caused more problems to Juve than Inter has. But he hasn't coached any big name. The biggest stature player has been Immobile. And half of our team earn more than him, or are bigger names.

Let's just hope he is (at least) as successful than the last Lazio coach we got.

Edit - I am referring to Mancini. Did Pioli also come here from Lazio?

Inzaghi probably looks at our lineup on Wikipedia right now and is in tears of joy. Not a single Albanian!

Ok! Simone is or new coach!

Sarri was my first choice! Actually Sarri was my choice even before Conte. I just like his style and how he develops teams! Give him time and he will build a team who punch above his weight! And that without breaking the bank! The only downside - he is old. He is older than Ancelotti who coaches since an eternity! His story is also fascinating! From a banker who coach amateur teams as a hobby to become champion of Italy. That is a jouney.

I try to be positive with Simone (I falsely was also with Strama and Mazzari). I consider him and de Zerbi the best of new crops of coaches. Lazio was a solid team who also punch above his weight. Just ask Juventus! And the roster of Lazio is mehh! SMS, Alberto, Immobile are quality, some other are good players. But overall a mediocre squad. I don't think Allegrri or Conte would have achieved more with that squad.

Plus Sarri had already inherited a Conte team in the past when he joined Chelsea. He didn't do that bad there. For me Sarri was a no brainer. Our management just postponed the inevitable. There aren't top managers who play with a back 3 as their main formation. Only Conte. Sooner or later you would have to either bring someone who is tactically flexible or switch to a back 4.

Anyway, we have Inzaghi now so let's see what he can do. And Pioli had come from Lazio too. Inzaghi had actually replaced Pioli at Lazio as an interim. He became the permanent coach when loco Bielsa turned into total loco mode and abandoned Lazio just before the start of the following season.

Somehow this Inzaghi appointment seems a profile a la Marotta. The same when he hired a young Conte from Sienna. Hopefully he will not dissapoint. Only the time will tell. His Lazio was pretty good, considering Lotito doesn't spend.

Why no one in Italy tried Sarri? He doesn't want to coach anymore? I know he refused Fiorentina. In my opinion he is the best italian coach at the moment (arguably except Ancelotti). Better than Allegri or Conte. Give him time and a fist of mone and he will build a real team.

Hes still collecting money from juventus, so he's probably in no rush to go anywhere else. Fiorentina are a step down for him and he won't ever be able to build a trophy winning squad there, and they probably won't pay him what he wants, so that's why he declined most likely. I'm sure he'll find a job by next year.

Don't have one.

Yeah, he has really young and good core even if we sell one or two main players, plus I would really like if he can promote some young players like agoume, pirola, di marco etc. As I have said earlier under this ownership I don't have any expectations anymore, so why the hell not.

Apparently Zidane is looking for a new team immediately, so lequipe report. Imagine he ends up at juve after all and we are stuck with limone and allegri free.

What would be hilarious if Zidane went to Barca. Probably will end up at PSG.
