Sadly i had totally seen it coming. It is a typical Marotta move especially considering our financial situation. Taking a starter from a rival on a free who may (but probably not) fill a need.

But i fear it's a panic buy. And not only because there could be much better market opportunities if we were willing to take a risk and wait for a midfielder from a top club to become available on loan. But mostly because Hakan isn't suited to playing as LCM in a midfield trio. Hakan became a definite starter for Milan when Pioli used him as CAM instead of LCM or LW like his predecessors. Prior to Pioli, Hakan was very inconsistent, average even at his best and he usually was on the list of deadwood Milan wanted to offload.

Using Hakan in a midfield trio can only end up in tears.

Fucking idiotic by our management. He is average and inconsistent, reminds me of Guarin.

I would argue he's still very inconsistent, average even at his best right now.

Let's hope he will be our Khedira though. An unattractive player who everyone hates to watch but still be a net positive to the team.

One positive thing in this is Hakan will have AT LEAST Lukaku, probably Lautaro too, in front of him instead of geriatric Zlatan, Leao or Rebic.

I also get Marotta's point in this signing if this goes through. They are probably banking on Eriksen not being available for at least 6 months even if he can continue his career at Italy (which is a big if). And the loan market for possible replacements is totally black box. Hakan case will be probably solved within few weeks so they need to act now. A risky bet for sure but it's a risk also not betting for this horse.

Calma!

Good, affordable deal for inter and another player of Milan starting 11 that leaves for free whether or not they want to admit it this is very poor business in the current football economy.

They can say all they want how shit he is and what not but they are 39 year old geared team for Zlatan and to be honest when he moves into this much more fluid team that plays for the team and rather not the individual, I guarantee he will stand out a lot more at the black and blue half of Milan.

Decent move for us that is looking for a short stop-gap solution while we sort the entire Christian Eriksen situation. An 8-9 mil operation over two years rather than splashing 30-35 (which we dont have) on a #10.

Not to mention we are saving 4.5 mil in salary on Radja Nainggolan. There is levels to this shit and Don Beppe is at it. It's fine, this could be way worse imo. We are handling a massive crisis via our doing or not well.

I'm fine with this. We probably need another addition to our midfield because we were very unlucky with Eriksen, and we can't rely on Sensi, Vecino and Gags.

I think Hakan will be a good player for us.

I really hate this club. Every day that goes by things turn to worse. I HATE Hakan. He’s an awful fucking player and we should go nowhere near this cunt. Fuck this fucking shit. I’m done. The motherfucking cocksucking banter era is back.

According to Biasin, Inter's offer for Hakan is 5m per season (bonus included) for a 3-year contract. The club hopes they can close the deal soon.

4 years at Milan and now he's switching from Milan to Inter because of bonus money literally. ( Maldini offered 4)

I don't think this is solely based on money. Probably had a fallout with the mgmt (refusing to offer him what he wants) or some player (Zlatan)

Apart from his wage, we might be in the shit but I'm still confident that our project remains more ambitious than Milan's. I'd rather play with Lukaku and Lautaro than Leao and Rebic, for example.

we're still saving money if he's replacement of Eriksen who, I believe, is having around 7.5m/year. I'm more concerned about his style of play and fitting into squad/system

According to Sky, Hakan was a personal request of Inzaghi who considers him perfect for his system. I love they're putting everything on Inzaghi.

3 years deal is too much, considering that they will try to get rid of him after 6 months most probably.

Well, 2 days ago i read that Inzaghi already has he's "new Eriksen" and is called Sensi... better have someone, instead of no one. I liked Calha but expected much more from him last season. Let's hope he will show that he's worth that 5M, maybe changing club will make him a new player, we will see.. im curios to see him.
