Thought I'd remembered hearing that the June 30th deadline was bullshit, but maybe the rumour about that being bullshit was the bulshit.

Biasin has said there's no June 30th deadline. Inter need to find 80-90m till end of transfer market.

Until November iirc, but sure, we cannot really receive money before January so they want to act now.

Not sure how cash heavy this deal is. Probably something like 50m cash and the rest bonus which is why we dropped from 80+ demands.

Well it was nice to enjoy him for a season. Still sucks though.

I don’t get the hate for Marotta. He’s doing what he can with some severe limitations.

Hes rumored to be earning 10m at PSG, I guess one way or another he'd be gone as AD said. Can't blame a guy for wanting to double his salary.

I am very sad about this. It really seemed that he wanted to stay, i wonder what would have happened if we didn't have to sell him... Would he still have chosen to go for more money?

i think we should be getting at least 80M for him, but it is what it is. I just hope we can get a solid replacement and not zappacosta.

Really! I am not so sure! We didn't know what happens behind the official declarations!
PSG doubled his salary, if it would be to believe the rumours! That's already 5m reasons to want to leave!

Yeah, there's no deadline. But we probably still want to make the deal before this fiscal year ends to book all the capital gains for this year. Capital gains are not MASSIVE, less than 40m€ but considerable amount still. For example Lautaro with 80m€ price would get us around 70m€ capital gains.

But PSG is there with the cash. Sucks to be poor.

I'm so sick and tired of Suning. I really wish they'd sell the club.

I'm tired of them always taking 3 steps back for every step they take forward.

Romano - Inter are waiting for Paris Saint-Germain to send the improved official bid around €70m [add ons included] to complete and sign Achraf Hakimi deal. Just a matter of time then he’s expected to join PSG.
Personal terms agreed until 2026, confirmed. Hakimi wants PSG.

Di Marzio - offer is 65M. Inter want 70M.

Cheap fucking bastards. Didn't they pay 40M euro as a fine before because of FFP? What can 5M more do

I will translate from german:
The business makes the cash flow, the accountant makes the profit.

In the SA/FFP era, we didn't have cash flow issues, but we needed to "make" a profit. So came, all our businesses. We "sold" Caprari to Sampdoria for 15m before 30. June and then bought Skrniar for 35m. Obviously that was 15m profit only in books, because there was no cash flow. The same story with Nainggolan, Bastoni and all the "child trafick" of Ausilio. All the primavera players "sold" for big sums, only someone could believe they were future Ballon d'Or material.

Now my friends, we have real problems. We have cash flow problems, no money to pay the bills, salaries and other shit, in our accounts. We have to sell one of our top talents for cash. I don't think plusvalenza is the principal criterium. If someone offer 60m for Lautaro, payable 12m per year for 5 years and Hakimi 70m with 50m upfront, I believe Hakimi will be sold. Even if the plusvalenza would be better with Lautaro's sell. We need money to run the business.

It is sad we need to sell Hakimi. For me he, Barella and Bastoni would be the last to sell, but if the only real offer comes for Hakimi, we don't have many choices. And by offer I mean, something real like a email, a fax or even a fucking pigeon, not rumours.

The most soul destroying aspect about this transfer is that PSG have allegedly offered him a five year contract. They undoubtedly realise his abilities and potential and want to lock him in for the future.

We gave him a five-year contract too, and a lot of good that did. Maybe next year Moneybags FC will buy him off PSG for a quintillion dollars.

Yes, but there's a difference between being on a five year contract and being paid peanuts and being on a five year contract and getting paid 10 million per season.

There is absolutely no way that we can compete with the likes of PSG and City when it comes to wages and trying to retain our players.

Hakimi, thanks for the fling! It was great while it lasted!
