Its great to have him back. He improves every season and imo, was one of the best LB in Serie A this season.

Biraghi, Perishit, Manuel Rui, Gosens, Theo, Sandro, Spinazzola?

Funny how Spinazzola became great and injury free when his transfer fell through smh.

he didnt become injury free at all. He missed 10 games of Serie A and he couldnt play a whole 90 minutes in Europa league cause he always had muscle problems. At best he's a 30 minutes per game bench player, cause as a starter he will never be able to play a full season.

Also out of those at the top, only Gosens and Theo had a better seasons than Dimarco.

Unspectacular but does a job; a bit more running than the former perhaps but not much else; no, what? A midget with no real abilities; the absolute best in the world; a monster on his day in terms of offense, but he's been sluggish for almost half a season and is a bit of a man-child; a shadow of his former self; very good on his day.

Being the third or fourth best at his position after his real first season as a starter at the age of 23 is very, very promising. 5 goals, 3 assists, great at set-plays, homegrown, can now also seemingly play a left centerback if need be...

It's a no-brainer.

Only Theo and Gosens were better than him for sure.

I love that the "experiment" of him playing LCB was done in another team and not next season while playing for us.

FcInterNews.it: Hellas Verona intend to make Dimarco’s loan move permanent for €6.5 million, after which they could sell him for an improved fee of €9-10 million. :datass:

Dimarco’s agent Giuseppe Riso is working alongside Inter’s directors to persuade Setti not to keep the 23-year-old, with the player said to be excited at getting the chance to play for the Nerazzurri again.

Hellas Verona would only agree to this if they were given something in return, and so Inter’s idea is to send Andrei Radu to the Gialloblu, a goalkeeper they have been linked with in recent weeks. Radu’s entourage have yet to discuss this eventuality with Inter and they are said to have ‘different ideas’ for their client’s future, but it remains an idea Inter could pursue.

“He’s shown he can be a great player for a mid-table side,” Vecchi, who coached Dimarco for 18 months with Inter’s Primavera, told Tuttosport.
The next step is to establish himself in a top club like Inter, but his ability to improve himself is decisive. The stats are on his side with goals, assists and a very high quality of performance. He’s made giant steps since his days in the Inter Primavera and I think he’s ready to be given an opportunity with the first team.Antonio Conte already knows him and I’m certain that if Dimarco were recalled to Inter, it would be a sign that they want to put their faith in him.”

“Inter have always believed in him, he was always guaranteed to have a bright future,” he argued.“There could never be any doubt over his attacking qualities, but he had to improve defensively: one-on-one situations, staying in line and the approach to take in certain situations. Having seen him play in a back three this season, and not just as a wing-back, you can say Dimarco has taken a big step. He’s always shown brilliant qualities with his left foot and his shooting ability, but now he’s a complete player. Dimarco kicks well from dead-ball situations and when he’s on the move, and you’ve seen that with Hellas Verona. We’ve watched him come into his own this season.”

> Conte could teach him how to properly defend.

Buy Gosens/Kostic and bring back DiMarco, don`t waste money on Palmieri.

We have a 50% sell-on clause. Verona buying Dimarco for 7M to sell him for 10M would do nothing for them.

Di Marzio is saying that Juric wants him at Torino.

No surprise here really.

Conte's departure is bad news for him. I can't see him working in a back 4. Unless we stick with a back 3 perhaps we should cash in on him. Hopefully with a buyback clause or a high future sale percentage.

Edit: Scratch that. We're back to back 3. :D

reports saying inter wont loan him to Torino and that the price is 12M. There were also a lot of reports this week how Inzaghi will try him out and then they will decide what to do with him.

Any idea if this guy is actually coming back or if we are trying to sell him?
I hope he stay with us? Italian and Club trained and is good player with low salary. I heard he also played LCB at Verona and did ok job at that position, so he would be great backup!

We have every reason to keep him, so I hope he stays. If he goes it's because the 8m we get for him would be more important...which would sadly say a lot about the club situation.
