I wish our club would be run like Atletico one day. They run it so smart and efficient . God knows how much time , energy and money we lose every year just to get rid of the previous year's bad purchases.
On a different note, wouldn't be surprised if Atletico win the UCL next year.

I really don't know where Atletico is getting all its money.

What’s going on at Madrid? They haven’t signed anything in ages, they’ve lost Ramos and apparently Varane is going to Man Utd too.

Let me guess.. incoming Skriniar rumors?

Atleti have been financially crook for decades. They’ve been raided by the police a number of times if I remember correctly.

Because they are a feeder club!!! If the price is right, no problem at all! From a little more than a decade, you can't count: Aguerro, Falcao, Diego Costa, Arda Turan, Lucas Hernandez, Rodri, Griezzman, Partey!! Probably there are others!
You can count also here the fact that they play since an eternity in CL and they have their own stadium!

You seem to look down on Atletico a lot. They aren't a "feeder" club. They just smartly sold players at the right time.

If a "feeder" club can be so bossy in CL and La Liga, I'd rather see Inter as a "feeder" club as well. We didn't sell much pre-Conte because our players were too shit to begin with; no big club was offering such big amounts.

There is no "pride" in keeping your best players way too long, being poor, and playing like shit (like Lazio).

I agree. I don't see big differences between Atletico and Dortmund, who are considered a feeder club. The only big difference is they have managed to keep Simeone all these years and that's why they have managed to remain competitive both in La Liga and Cl while Klopp decided to leave Dortmund. Sadly Atletico's model is the best Inter can hope for in our current financial situation.

Gollini to Spurs is close apparently, and they're also after Tomiyasu. lol Paratici. B-grade Leonardo trying to plunder Serie A talents.. except he's after a much lower grade of talent and with one tenth the resources 😆

I never rated Gollini tbh. Probably the keeper I liked the least out of the moderately-rated Serie A keepers like Dragowski, Cragno, Musso etc. Even though Musso hardly impresses me either, I can see why Atalanta decided to spend big to replace Gollini.

There are quite a lot of differences. Atletico has reportedly 1bn€ debts while Dortmund is basically debt-free. Atletico ownership group added almost 180m€ capital this year.

Their business models are completely different, Atletico is not run like Dortmund. Dortmund is the business model we could look for (though this would most probably mean goodbuy any trophies), Atletico don't unless we get some super rich owners who can keep adding capital to the club.

Wow. I thought with so many expensive sales throughout the years and with paying Cholo so much they would have been in a good financial situation. I stand corrected.

EXCL. Tottenham and Sevilla are finalizing a new swap deal: Erik Lamela to Sevilla, Bryan Gil to Spurs. Agreement set to be reached on permanent deal and here we go soon! #THFC Sevilla will also receive €25m + add ons included as part of the deal. #Sevilla

Wow, quite a swap deal. These swaps are rare.

I’ve honestly never heard of Bryan Gil before today but he seems really highly rated by people who watch more Spanish football. He will be playing for Spain in the Olympics as well.

Bryan is great, definitely a promising star - but of all the coaches to play under, couldn't have had worse luck considering few if any youth players have ever flourished under him
