10 years of FIFI do not recall the opponent or the season (might have been Spalletti's last season) but I remember we were short on players and he slotted in at left back. We were playing at home and he got burnt by his direct opponent. Rather than sprint after him he stopped and started walking in the middle of the game.
It was one of the most abject displays of defending that I have ever seen.
