Dest is the best case scenario after Hakimi. Hes really good on the ball and offers almost the same offensive presence as Hakimi. A few years in italian football should shore up his defensive side.

Loan with option to buy and ACTUALLY BUYING him if he does well sounds great. Get Telles for the left and we’re set for our starting XI.

He’s creative and a good dribbler but he’s still pretty raw as a player. He’s only 20 and physically still isn’t very strong. He’s the type of player I’d like us to have if we owned and could develop him. Having him on loan means he will make his mistakes here and then go back to Barca a better player, or he won’t play at all and we will start Darmian.
He's the type of player we buy, give up on after six cameo appearances, and end up loaning out for three years. We never have success buying these raw talents.

Well in Hakimi's case we at least made quite nice profit out of that one season development. In addition to the financial gain we got the title.

Of course he's not leaving Barcelona. He will never reach higher than that

And when we do develop talents, like Hakimi and Cancelo, we don’t keep hold of them :D

both cost 40
Million… not exactly raw or promising. They were both expected to be world class

GdS: Marcos Alonso has reportedly asked Chelsea to let him join Inter. Chelsea want €15-20m for him, while Inter prefer a loan with an option to buy.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Let's see at the end of August and Alonso is still at Chelsea since no one wants to pay their asking prices.

Apparently Bayern are in the market for a new RB

I think they'd go for our loan + option offer

I would like Alonso a lot, but seems too hard to get him as we have Perisic high wage and we have to deal with Chelsea who are butt hurt for Hakimi dealings :yao:

Chelsea have shown that they'd rather have his sit on the bench all season long than sell him for anything less than their own valuation of him. Otherwise he would've left many seasons ago. Would not hold my breath for Chelsea to give way in this regard

He was a disaster as a rb at Bayern last season. Maybe he could be better as a wingback but i don't know. He would be a gamble. Besides, if Nagelsmann switches to a back 3 he will probably like to keep him as he's the only player in their squad who can play as rwb.

The problem is that knowing it's Inter, they will ask for 2-3mln loan fee for Kostic and in the same time Inter to pay the half of Lazaros salary.
Swap deal with loan + option to buy both. Thank me later Marotta, this is easy. Let's go.

Fuuuuuuck me, enough with the fucking Chelsea LWB links. One of the few positives of Conte leaving, I thought, was that we wouldn't hear about Alonso or Emerson again.

15m is a joke by the way, the guy plays about 90 minutes every 6 weeks for them.

Also: why do we need a LWB? If Dimarco is staying, it means either Perisic is being sold/terminated or being played as a striker, none of which are good ideas.
