Indeed. We should look at what's best for the team overall. A more clinical poacher to foil with Lautaro might be interesting.

But honestly, trying to replace Lukaku by trying to replicate the playing style feels just stupid because the drop in quality is fucking steep. In addition to the fact we would need to pay tens of millions for Zapata who has already turned 30. We cannot replace Lukaku's characteristics properly so we should just try to find the best value for money which is obviously not 30-year-old Lukaku-esque tank who is a lot worse than Lukaku.

There is a large variety of striker profiles around, we don't have to go for the exact same kind of striker as Lukaku. The same way we totally changed profiles going from Icardi to Lukaku.

You still need a dominant figure, who can blast in with legs and his head in Serie A not a 1.70 Raspadori-Lautaro duo. This combination of LuLa worked so beautifully( thanks to some precise tactics by Conte too obv)

But Inzaghi plays different than Conte, despite the similarity of tactics. We need to scout for a young hungry mean goalscoring beast , who could handle a big expectations. Affordable ( 50M)

I think that despite his height Lautaro is actually very much an aerial threat. But yeah pairing him with Raspadori would just get them bullied. I'd honestly take Vlahovic and Keita/Belotti to complete the attack with Lautaro and Sanchez.

Say we get Vlahovic, Berardi and Gosens, would you call it an upgrade? I know I would. Hard to pull off tho but if there was only one man capable of this he would be Don Beppe.

I was optimistic at first when reading the rumored Chelsea's offer. I remembered Zlatan's sale and how it actually made us a better team. Then I read the name 'Zapata'.. all that optimism down the drain.

Not suprised though. I'm aware that Inter are very capable of turning a really good transfer into a miserable one.

Guys, 130m for a 28 year old, heavy striker comes around the door once in a while. 130m for Lukaku is equivalent of making CHL 4 years in a row.. + his salary 15m a year..

I think we would have sold even if we did not have a crisis.

yeah, it'd haave been better for this to have happened before we sold hakimi. the question is how we replace him with some appropriate quality to make sure we dont waste the money.

I am counting on Lotito asking a ridiculous price for Correa so we can at least avoid him.

F*cking Correa man. Scores less and assists less than Alexis who is injured half of the time.
Do they think Lautaro is suddenly going to turn into a 30 goals per season striker?

look guys I love Lukaku, but pre-Conte he was not as invincible. Also let's not act like he is Mbappe or Neymar, for 130m fuck yes you can have him.

gotta agree - at 130m he's the 4th most expensive plyer in history (behind Mbappe, Neymar, Coutinho) - can anyone honestly say Lukaku deserves to be there?
