edit. While at the same time Di Marzio reports Empoli is making a serious attempt trying to loan Pinamonti. Nice that there's some competition over here. I guess we should be then able to get rid of him without having to pay even 50% of his salary? Is that too much to be asked?

I really hope so but his wages are what, €2m? €2.5m? There’s no way these relegation sides will pay over €1m salary for a completely unproven kid like Pinamonti.

Nor should they tbfh. Empoli or Cagliari paying even half of Pina’s wages would instantly make him a top earner at their club. Dude has shown nothing to deserve that kind of trust.

The obscene wages bills of top clubs makes me forget just how modest the wages are for mid-lower team players sometimes 😄

If Inter really wants to pay that much salary for a back-up, it better be for someone who is gonna actually contribute to the team. Not play like 1-2 matches for the whole season.

gds - Pinamonti is Empoli's first choice and all that's missing is a formula for Pinamonti's salary, as Empoli can't pay 2M. It will be a loan deal.

So yea, best scenario will be if they pay at least 250k, which i doubt they can.

The more precise answer is that we jerked this kid around for years, selling him outright to Genoa, and the only way to get him to agree to such ridiculous decisions was to give him a massive salary. So now we have a kid making more money than the majority of our club, with a huge book value, who absolutely sucks.

Cutrone is coming to Empoli on loan. I am not sure Pinamonti can get many playing time with cutrone there.

Another question is how much Empoli taking cutrone's salary. I dont think they can afford cutrone's full salary.

So, he's staying at this rate unless we sell him and pay 65% of his salary. More likely I guess as a vice Dzeko, hope it works out for him.
