There are lots of arguments among the hip-hop lovers that is Dababy making mumble rap or not. I've never been fan of mumble rap and I don't even now can this stuff count as a mumble rap but I don't care. Because it's funny to listen.

Popular mumble rap don't exist anymore. Really really. I don't think da baby was ever mumble rapper.

21 Savage started as one, but now I can clearly understand him.

Tyler's been releasing some really good stuff lately. Igor was a great album so I'm excited for the next one.

Who the fuck gives a fuck, really, it's just some commercial drivel by an annoying prick with an annoying voice. Heard Hurricane, sounds great until Kanye starts rapping, eyuckh

I'll be in my corner promoting Stove God Cooks and Your Old Droog

He gets waaay too much attention for somebody who clearly seeks attention with his Trump-loving, quasi-christian persona.

And now has drama with every album he puts out, and people still fall for it! And I'm especially not impressed when songs have 10 producers and 10 writers. C'mon Kanye, just stop

I feel bad for every serious artist that doesn't clout chase like that and gets no love, no recognition from the overall public.

Haven’t listened to Kanye in a while. I think I listened to either Kids see Ghosts or Jesus is king, maybe even both. Thought it was pretty lame anyway. I enjoyed his first couple albums, but his music these days is very forgettable overall. I might give Donda a shot, but I’ll make sure to check out the most popular songs first. I can sense it being wack, especially considering the album is almost two hours long.

Kanye always been overrated. He is highly rated as a producer but i never rally was into his production or style in general. He makes good beats and a lot of people work with him but like i said not my kind of Hip-Hop, anything else is just media hype.

So much this fuck that guy......
Yes he s a great producer but even there he would not enter my top 5...
As a rapper he always was mediocre his first two albums were good/great but his rapping was never up there it was more the beats and the features that stood out.
Also his albums were always very popish.....
Not sure why so many think he s a great rapper...

Because he came up when commercial rap was trash with all that gangsta-esque bs (50 cent after GRODT) and did something different and after that he continued to do something different with almost every album.

Most people don't really do any digging and missed out on a lot of similiar backpack artists just because they weren't on MTV (People under the stairs, Consequence (a ghostwriter for Kanye in his early career),..) - that is why it was easy for him and Lupe Fiasco to stand out, with Lupe being the better rapper, clearly

He's great at crafting a sound for an album but overall except for Kids see ghost or his 2010 album instrumentals I don't ever return to a Kanye album, it feels like eating too much chocolate, sure it's easy to consume but too much of it and you get sick from it
