How's Dumfries btw? Is anyone watching?)
Honestly not impressed, struggles to beat his man or to make an impact against what is imo a very poor Montenegro side.

Calhanoglu scored and assisted for Turkey, didn't see that thou

Hope the new crop of Italian strikers grows up quick because Immobile just gets more and more unwatchable
There's no one impressive enough coming up.

Actually cannot think of anyone after Vieri that could amount to much. Gilardino was promising but he played in an era of many great strikers and kinda failed to reach the promised level, after that 2nd Milan season, right after the World Cup, right when he was expected to take over.

Pellegri looked lively when he was 16-17 at Genoa but that Monaco move didn't do him any justice. Esposito doesn't look like a scorer, something more like a Del Piero/Cassano hybrid and hopefully he reaches that level. Raspadori also doesn't strike me as a prolific scorer.

It's just not really a thing, there's one really great box striker every 30 years or so and a bunch of quality forwards that can share the scoring load.

This is probably the only major country where the scoring records are held by pre-90s players despite having too many amazing players coming up. Every other big European country's record was broken in the 2000s or 2010s due to more fixtures and a lot more crappy opponents.

Lol what a terrible PK by Jorginho. Should have let the king in penalties Ciro Immobile take it.

Locatelli has looked really good today. So good in tight spaces. He and Chiesa alone will drag Juve to some victories this year.

We have a mentally retarded coach who's Turkish De Boer
I just can't get this hate against Senol Gunes. The dude had been poured with shit in 2002 as well when he benched Ilhan Mansiz for the sake of playing Hakan Sukur instead. He managed reaching the semis, and guess what? people were claiming that had Senol not been the coach, Turkey would have won the World Cup lmao  Did he not also lead Besiktas to winning the league title? I don't follow Turkish football too closely, but I think fans treat him unfairly.

The 2002 world cup was the most embarrassing tournament in the history of the cup. We all know that both South Korea and Japan bribed the referees. We didn't even play against any strong European team. The only serious opponent we faced was Brazil and they beat us 2 times. Also he's a spendthrift. That 2002 team created by Fatih Terim. Do you know why Şenol Güneş was the coach of the Turkish NT for the first time? Just because the president of the football federation at that time and Şenol Güneş are both from the same province of Turkey (Trabzon region)

Welcome to Middle East ;)
