I tihnk if you're going to talk about different ers, we need to be looking aat average number of Serie A goals scored (not just Inter team goals), etc. Lukaku is. creator as much as a benefactor of the circumstaances imho. I think its exactly that Lautaro managed to score so many goals that its impressive that Lukaku did as well.

And, yes, part of the impressive element is that he's managed to stay fully fit for 2 seasons - where mny others failed to.

This is exactly the same things he said when joining us. I remember he was interviewed by an american dude on youtube way before the move to Inter was even signed talking about his experience at Manchester and how he wanted to leave a few months after joining them.

It’s funny because you just generalize people who criticize Lukaku into 1 category lmao because I never use those excuses. Fact is Lukaku was shit in CL for us , couldn’t score a single goal against Shaktar when we needed it the most, he couldn’t finish a one on one situation against Sevilla when we needed it the most and he couldn’t do shit against Italy when he was spoon fed missing a header and a tap in (unless you consider Spina’s block a miraculous one). It’s a well known fact that he chokes when it matters and he’s great against smaller minions which is how he helped us win the league. Dude left already, so forget about him lmao
But you are right, everyone is entitled to their own opinion; they are entitled to cherish any player they want.

Yeah, but Ibra really scored against everybody in (any) league. Not being a boss in CL is where they are similar, but even what Lukaku does is actually impressive, let alone what prime Ibra was doing.

Lukaku 'only scoring against smaller clubs' doesn't really mean much. He's still doing it. Imagine he is playing for a club you own. Any player that can guarantee goals against most clubs is worth more than players that scored a few clutch goals but doesn't really have huge numbers.

He did score an amazing goal vs ACM (was it in February?) in what was probably the most important victory in the title race. Vs on of the best GKs around. And assisted for the first goal.

He's not a choker, he's just not the best there is at every given moment, but far from choker. He would have missed at least one penalty if he was one.
