Tbh I don't have high hopes on his potential to improve technically, you either have that or not.
But if he improves defensively then solid in the back plus his power/speed can make up for a good player

He's an okay player. He clearly needs to shoot first time more often, he got in good positions a lot of times but he looks like he wants to pass it most of the times.

I'm no scout, and honestly, my understanding of football is limited to knowing that whoever scores the most goals wins.

Having said that, his technique is worrying and I'm sure that he will be silenced by any side with proper defenders.

He for sure had a great game today but no where near perfect, we can't look at this performance through tinted glassed because of result plus it was Bologna no disrespect.

Solid performance, great speed, great determination, humble when he messes up but yes, he messed up a few times. I hope he now continues to cement the starting role because he's exactly what we need, I am a firm supporter of this signing but I see his performance for what it was. Overall a positive performance and a pleasing one.

Agree. He might look clumsy and play ugly but he does well his job, which is the most important thing.

I never doubted his ability to be at least good enough offensively, but will he be able to defend against a good side that has us pinned? We’ll see. It’s admittedly a small sample size, but he was absolutely dog shit in the Real game like 5/10 level.

I hope he acclimatizes quickly and comes good.

I’m not a “hater.” But saying he is better than Hakimi at this point is ludicrous. He was a better option than Bellerin and Zappcosta by a county mile and came relatively cheaply. I’m all for giving him a chance, but he has to improve his game defensively.
