Use some stats to support your argument? This is what Biraghi did in his last season at Inter:

This is what Perisic did in his last season:

View attachment 5842

Biraghi had the same outcome, with less minutes and for a worse Inter side. No Hakimi but with fucking Candreva and Moses on the right to help. So I think he is better, marginally, but still. What's wrong with it?

It's ridiculous to count trophies to judge players. That's a team achievement, not individual. We should sign Buffon or Pinto to replace Handa if that is the way.

Inter’s Ivan Perisic Rated MOTM By Italian Media For Performance Against Fiorentina

It's pointless to compare them as Perisic is way above Biraghi as fullback. Perisic played big part of his career as a winger, he is useful and good/proven polyvalent player, while Biraghi plays as average LB his whole career. Besides, Perisic's legacy at Inter goes from Mancini/Spaletti's days as he was one of the best individuals along with Icardi and Handa in the team for some time.
Conte didn't like him at the beginning, but last season he was part of staring XI and played decent/ justified his starting spot.

And meanwhile Biraghi did what exactly? Also, what marke he left at Inter? Does he have better rating than Perisic as a player? Important goals, winning goals, winning assists, motm performances???

And to add something at the end, Perisic is still a starter, he is still in this champ squad, while Biraghi reached his peak at Viole. Inter simply doesn't have room for Biraghi as he can't play good enough, he also can't adapt to the squad and fulfill coach's tasks. End of.

Sadly a lot of Inter fans still don't give credit and support to our Scudetto squad, but players legacy goes on and on. We would love to have world class at each position, but we don't and we play with squad we already have.

Put some respect on the likes of Perisic and others as they all played a huge role for us to finally become champions after 11 years of disgrace.

Well, Perisic was the weakest link of our Scudetto squad. He wasn’t even a sure starter at the first part of the season. Half of the workload was shared with Ashley Young. So I would give the British equal credits.

This discussion Biraghi vs Perisic is nonsense, because it is not the original purpose of my previous posts. I wanted Kostic, at the time he was linked to us. And your Croatian friend was so delusional that he said Perisic was WAY better. Then I said Pero isn’t even better than Biraghi, that was where the “war” began. I don’t hate Perisic per se, not Biraghi fan either, but I just don’t want this place turning into a mini Milan forum where players were hyped based on fans preferences with no facts support.

Let me remind you, Perisic was kicked out by Conte because he was considered not suitable for the squad (Note: I am not saying he is terrible). Conte saw Young and Biraghi justified the role better (which I agreed with). In the next season, we used the whole budget on Hakimi and we had empty pockey. So Biraghi was not redeemed and we had only Perisic left after Bayern refused to activate his 18m option. Saying Biraghi was so horrible that he was kicked out is simply vastly negative biased had you watched that season. He was good enough to be a starter. And we were 2nd in both Europe and Serie A, with only one point behind Sarri’s Juventus.

Not a “disgrace” season per se comparing to last season, when we basically had only Serie A to care about and finished last in CL group stage. CL result was a pure himiliation.

Do not need to pull the two to a shitty bipolar 0 and 10. I am rating Biraghi solid 6 and Perisic 5. For you two, Biraghi is like a Schelotto or Dalbert and doesn’t know how to play football, while Perisic is twice the guy with fucking 20 or 30 goals and assists per season (Kostic). Simply ridiculous.

This place feels dead...I'm sad
Anyway...
Nice football we doing this days, the first half was the worst this season but the second half was pretty fucking smart.
I like Inzaghi ball way more than Cunte ball...I like to feel a pulse when watching this sport...and with Limone it happens a lot.
Football isn't just grinding 1:0 wins for me,I need some drama and class to be shown...Dzeko,Toro,Barella,Correa,Dumbfries,Darmian provide that shit
Hell all our players are free too do smth more under Inzaghi, because Conte had some rigid ideas that were hard to watch.
Enough said
Let's fuck up Gasp some more

Lautaro's criticism is justified, he has no killer instinct, he has no finishing ability, which is very critical for the position he plays right now under Inzaghi, as a second striker with Lukaku it was ok, but not now. I'm in favor of selling him in favor of buying a forward like Dusan Vlahovic or Alexander Isak.

No killer instinct yet he scored about as much as other lone strikers in the league.

And wait until you see Vlahovic in an attacking oriented team where he will have to play in tight spaces, then you will realize how much these extra touches to bring the ball the his left foot weight him down.

he could have scored even more if he didn't waste many of his chances tho.

Perisic was not our weakest link last season wtf you are smoking bro? That is false, you either hate the guy or you smoke or snort some shit. I think its just hate, cause yesterday for every shit thing we did and made errors you always pointed Perisic as a main problem. No way to discuss with you anymore.

I don't hate Perisic as a player. He brings more positives than negatives. But I hated his single action yesterday after I saw him lazily jogging back and allowed Sottil to freely score the tap-in. Look at Hakan, he yelled at him in the same way as I. Look at how Allegri yelled at Chiesa after Kalulu shot: "AND HE WANTS TO PLAY FOR JUVENTUS". Based on your logic, that stemmed from hate?!? No, that's criticism.

If you can't stand criticisms toward your lover, feel free to put me in your ignore list. Because this is a forum with diverse opinions. You can't force everyone to not bash a player, just because you are butthurt.

At the first I couldn't believe what I saw. That's the reason why I looked at the stats several times!

According to sofascore stats Hakan was the best player of the game :awyeah:

Now there's one thing certain that those Sofascore guys smoke flakka everyday

So, I’m behind in catching up with our games. I watched the first 10 minutes of Fiorentina last night. Did anyone notice that Handanovic as Captain, forgot to exchange club banners with Biraghi?

He was holding ours and after all of the pleasantries and exchanges with the referees and Biraghi, he just walked off. Biraghi had to call him back.

I thought that exchange pretty much sums up Handanovic at this moment.

Yeah keep on shitting on Handanovic, while in the next 45mins or something, he kept the team in the game with his saves. Without Handa's saves, we would have lost this match most probably.

Haters will say a GK job is to save shots. Do Balotelli celebrate goals?

Fuck anybody who shits on the captain and the one player with a history of being the reason why we did not end up at bottom of the half in Serie A for many years. Some players make us win CL and some make us stay in Serie A.

These are our results with Handa in the league. He did well enough, but even with shitty defence we were never in relegation trouble. Also as it was said before, he only had like 1, maybe 2 outright not-up-to-par games this season, all of the other games were good. He'll be fondly remembered for sure when he leaves and if he had a better team around him when he was in his prime, he'd have a lot of clean sheets... but captain or not, nobody is exempt from real criticism.

We are all reactionary and if there is one player we expect always to be rock solid, it's him. That's why people get overly emotional about him.
