Not really, I just followed Ibrahimovic. But I guess its the same
:yao:

Just say you started following Ibrahimovic when he was at Ajax. Everybody happy.

We all make mistakes when we're young. For example: I bought a Milan shirt ( the white away shirt) with Nesta. Only because I was a fan of Nesta. When I got my mind back I threw it away and felt stupid for buying a Milan shirt.

It's confession day I'd reckon.

My first fotball shirt was Juve's "Edgar Davids 26". Really easy to explain: the Dutchman has the same first name as I, has the same skin color (i'm mulatto, and that's quite uncommon in Ukraine, to say the least) and Davids was a sick player back in the day.

Actually I started to follow him when he joined Inter but it doesn't change his gobbi history.

Jucas kfouri brazillian sport journalist on ronaldo brazil : "you can just see it, how someone is different to other player, someone like kaka doesn't have it, he's a great player, kaka is a great player. But he doesn't have the strick of geniuses, something that sets him a part, ronaldo have it at cruzeiro, he had it”

Came across this video the other day

It's wild to me to see an absolute legend of the game speak Dutch despite only player here for 2 years. For somebody not native he speaks very good. Nowadays at Ajax/PSV the foreign players dont even bother learning the language, meanwhile back then they had Ronaldo chomping on Dutch herrings

Dutch people speak good English and back then you only had 1-2 non-Dutch speakers. Now half (or more for PSV) don't know the language and have no need to learn as they don't really use it for work either.

It's the same everywhere. Only in the top 5 leagues you end up having to learn the language (Spanish, German, English, Italian or French). And you still don't see it happening very often. In Italy is the most common probably because it's the easiest language to learn of the lot. And most people already have some basic English knowledge so I'm not counting that.

Given the power of Italian football at the time it was fitting, then, that Inter’s adversary in the UEFA Cup final should be one of their domestic rivals: Lazio.
The Biancocelesti were the favourites, but Ronaldo had other ideas.

“I roomed with Ronaldo, and before the final they chose two players from each side to speak to the press,” Ze Elias says.

“From Lazio it was Nesta and Mancini, and they said that if one of the two sides really deserved the trophy, it was Lazio, because they had got to the final without losing, without having to overcome any bad results.

“Ronaldo was sat there next to them and said, ‘Tomorrow, I’m going to make these two into figuras di merda’,” using an Italian phrase that roughly translates as ‘look a fool’.

“I went to him and asked, ‘Ronaldo, what are you doing?’ He looked at me and said, ‘They talk too much"

With a knowing smile, Ze Elias glances up before continuing: “The next day we won the game 3-0. Ronaldo had a field day. He scored a goal, nutmegged someone.

“Mancini came up to him during the game and Ronaldo said, ‘Not now, keep quiet. If you want, I’ll give you my autograph after the game.'”

The other two goals were scored by Zanetti and Zamorano, cementing the importance of Inter’s South American connection.

Grande Ronaldo :D

Maybe the way he left to Real Madrid. Can't blame him though. Juventus was covered tight by the referees back in the day.

Should be in LGI in my opinion. R9 is an iconic figure at this sport.
