Unfortunately this is far from surprising. We won the title last year off defense and counter attacks. Inzaghi has always been a shit defensive coach and Lukaku and Hakimi absolutely ran our counters. I can't tell how much of this is on him or if he's just captaining the ship as it's already sinking. Either way, I think we're in danger.

Usually I reserve my criticism about newly hired coaches until they finish their first season, but with Inzaghi it's pretty obvious that it's a step backwards, if not two.

Agree, and like you, I don't even know how much blame lies on him and how much is on the basis of what happened during the summer. Without hakimi and lukaku even if he tweaks some things maybe we could get marginally better but not by a lot. And that's the fucking thing that hurts the most.

Without Hakimi, Conte can reach EL Final and 2nd place.
I doubt Inzaghi can do that.

The problem is Inzaghi tactics doesn't suit to our players. Skriniar, De Vrij, and Bastoni will collapse with his tactic.

what the fuck man, it's not like it was the first time our defense is being shit. On the 2nd goal 3 players were running toward Immobile leaving Anderson completely free. It could have been cleared had the defenders been more organized. They are all by themselves

When Dimarco injured, Inter kept playing. Why would Lazio need to put the ball out?

With Conte, Even ERIKSEN do job as shield. Eriksen learn for 1 year from Conte how to defense.

All our wingbacks, midfield, and even forward help in defense.
Conte always scream about defense.

I can't believe we conceded so more goals with Skriniar, De Vrij and Bastoni in our backline.
Dimarco is not CB in mybook. Never ever.

Darmian better than Dimarco at LCB .

I doubt Inzaghi can win Scudetto even with Hakimi and Lukaku.

No. It's Inzaghi's fault we were getting dominated by Lazio during the entire first half and there was zero reaction from the team after 2-1. It's Inzaghi's fault we had the best defence last season and this season we can't keep a clean sheet.

Btw our penalty was also out of nowhere. It's not like we did anything in first half to deserve the lead.

Because Dimarco was down, play acting or whatever he was doing. Counters are always dangerous and we were going for the win, thats why we need a DMF to control games in the defensive phase but we don't have that.

Inzaghi made ZERO progress during his tenure at Lazio. But some fans just love Inter too much to sugarcoat the new coach. But no matter how much they tried, they can't turn him into Conte.

I have said it once and I will repeat myself. We have got the coach with the worst record among the tops. Anything Inzaghi has done, others have done it better. Pioli has done better. Sarri has done better. Even Spalletti with Roma historical record number of points, then top4 guarantee. Let's not mention Mourinho or Allegri. We do have the second-best squad among them, still, you can't pretend Inzaghi suddenly learns that quick and outsmarts ones much better than him in the past.

Someone praises Inzaghi's "achievement" by some useless Coppas. Do you really think that Europa-League-ticket-at-its-best is something really serious?!? We need fucking CL to earn money, not that useless Thursday evening trophy. And he has managed it ONCE in five years. Gungho-football is fun to watch, but that fun doesn't bring enough points. Check Lazio's Serie A positions and see it by yourself. Okay okay Lazio players were shit. Check again next summer and blame our players to be shit too.

I disagree, I think we played really good at first half. Something I did realise was that Inzaghi have no intention of controlling a game, everything is about attacking
