That`s normal for any party animal out there.
Arturo Vidal knows Inter fans expect a lot from him and appears to rule out a possible January exit: ‘I want to win more with this club.’ The Chile international scored one goal in the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 win over Sheriff in Champions League.
“It was a really perfect night for us, we needed a victory to gain confidence ahead of Sunday’s match.”
The Nerazzurri face Vidal’s former club Juventus on Sunday with the Bianconeri travelling to San Siro.
“We must continue to work, but it is important to have won this game,” Vidal added.
“I dedicate my goal to my daughter Elisabetta who was watching me from Chile. I had promised it to her.
“On Sunday, we had lost a bad game against Lazio but tonight we won an important match that will boost our self-esteem.”
The 34-year-old has been linked with a move away from Inter in January or at the end of the season, when his contract with the Nerazzurri expires. However, Vidal seems willing to end the campaign in the black and blue half of Milan.
“I know Inter fans expect a lot from me for everything I’ve done in my career,” he said.
“I hope to give my best and win more with Inter.”
Vidal was given a standing ovation by Inter fans when Simone Inzaghi replaced him in the second half.
