I have been saying this for a while. Vidal is better than any other 3rd midfield option we have right now. Hope he stays fit and can play more regularly, we need his energy and mentality on the pitch.

That`s normal for any party animal out there.

Arturo Vidal knows Inter fans expect a lot from him and appears to rule out a possible January exit: ‘I want to win more with this club.’ The Chile international scored one goal in the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 win over Sheriff in Champions League.
“It was a really perfect night for us, we needed a victory to gain confidence ahead of Sunday’s match.”

The Nerazzurri face Vidal’s former club Juventus on Sunday with the Bianconeri travelling to San Siro.
“We must continue to work, but it is important to have won this game,” Vidal added.
“I dedicate my goal to my daughter Elisabetta who was watching me from Chile. I had promised it to her.
“On Sunday, we had lost a bad game against Lazio but tonight we won an important match that will boost our self-esteem.”

The 34-year-old has been linked with a move away from Inter in January or at the end of the season, when his contract with the Nerazzurri expires. However, Vidal seems willing to end the campaign in the black and blue half of Milan.
“I know Inter fans expect a lot from me for everything I’ve done in my career,” he said.
“I hope to give my best and win more with Inter.”

Vidal was given a standing ovation by Inter fans when Simone Inzaghi replaced him in the second half.

Vidal is having quite an impact so far this season 👍 👍

As of 24 Oct 21:

- For consistency, assists awarded as per legaseriea.it
- kc = Key contributions

- GC = Goal Contributions ie total goals the player has scored or created = goals + assists + kc
- GC% = Percentage of Inter goals the player has scored or created

That assist was unintentional really, but it's true that he's been stepping it up this season.

We need him.

One day after Antonio Conte was announced the new coach at Tottenham Hotspur, Vidal was asked on social media if he could picture himself playing in the Premier League in the future.

Conte brought the Chile international to Inter from Barcelona and Vidal hinted he could be open to reunite with the Italian in London by claiming ‘there’s still time’.

The Nerazzurro star chatted with his followers on Instagram and revealed he also had chances of moving to the Premier League previously.

“I have had opportunities in the past, but in the end nothing happened,” Vidal said on social media.

But there’s still time. We will see how this year goes, what will happen and what my future destiny will be. But this year I want to give everything and fight for Inter.”

> 6M + bonuses and Conte can have him.

Nothing against these updates but could you put them under quote and or italic just to seperate a news story from your own text.

Not sure why so many here are keen to get rid of Vidal in Jan. Its not like we have abundant quality in the midfield. Vidal is our 3rd best midfielder, at least until Hakan can show some consistent form or Sensi can play several games without getting injured. I wouldn't hold my breadth waiting for either of those 2 possibilities.

If we sell Vidal, we need to buy a starting midfielder. Currently Suning don't seem inclined to spend money. So I hope Vidal stays till the end of his contract. And if Paratici wants hm in January, hope Marotta tells him to fuck off. I wouldn't mind if Spurs want either of Vecino or Gagliardini, but unfortunately that seems unlikely.

Another warrior performance, too bad he did not get subbed after the second goal maybe unavailable for the Derby after that tackle late.

Should be happy after getting the full 90 mins today. Hopefully fired up for the Derby even if he could just come on for 15-20 mins. With a healthy Vidal & Sensi, we really just need one of Gags and Vecino as backup.
