Would you like to see Satriano play today in this game?
No, I don't. But I was very pissed off when we did not give him a single minute against e.g. Bologna (won 6-1). But Gagliardini and Kolarov.

Just be honest that we have a problem with trusting youngsters. Should have loaned Satriano out, like I just said, if not intend to use him.

I agree he should have be loaned out 100% ie Satriano.

Sanchez however needs to prove he can stay fit and fit into Inzaghi's system, unfortunately for Sanchez this season its Dzeko +1 and that +1 will always be Toro and rightfully so, people can be happy unhappy at choices but someone has to sit on the bench and our results/goals show Inzaghi has been right so far.

Dimarco: 275 mins played, 1 goal + 1 assist
Gagliardini: 22 mins played, 0 goal + 1 assist
Vidal: 114 mins played, 1 goal + 1 assist
Alexis: 52 mins played, 0 goal + 0 assist

Conte has already said this last year. Alexis needs to justify his presence with numbers. We all know he offers more than just goals. But for God's sake, he's a striker after all. Quit moaning when you can't even outdo Gags on the numbers but earns an astronomical wage

Alexis has one assist. Dzeko goal against Bologna.

52 mins as a sample size is ridiculously low, you can't argument anything because of the stats. That's just absurd.
Those were the official stats from Inter. And I beg to differ on the question of sample size. It's almost the same case with Sensi. They were unavailable half the time. Even if you look at his performance last season, he didn't score as much. This is a problem pointed out by Conte in the press conference. Unfortunately as a striker, you DO have to score regardless of your other contributions. I am not denying Alexis' talent or effectiveness in breaking through the opponents' wall. But we can't have a man upfront that the opponent's GK or CB do not see as a threat.

Very happy to have him in the squad and I have been signing heaps of praises for his fighting spirit. But the moment you start whining about playing time (WHILE getting yourself injured in every NT call-up AND being paid an huge salary) - then we need to look at whether we should allocate those resources on Brozovic or Barella's package, or even extending Perisic for a year.

Exactly, it should be Sanchez-Lautaro. We need Dzeko against Juve much more than from the start in Sheriff match.

If he's on the pitch, he's scoring tomorrow, I've got a feeling.

Clearly, either a start against Sheriff or against Juve. Preferably both unless everybody else step it up.

With Sanchez, the goal stats only tell a small part of the story. Yes, he doesn't score enough goals anymore and that makes some people underrate his contributions. Coz Sanchez contributes to a lot of goals, either by creating, starting the moves or assisting them. I have been tracking goals, assists and key contributions towards the goals over last season here, and Sanchez had more goal contributions per minute than any other Inter player (with Lukaku just a fraction behind, but Martinez far behind). He played only 1556 minutes (big enough sample size) but had a hand in 21 goals, basically scoring or creating 7 goals in every 6 games. Thats pretty good.

Sanchez was an awesome super-sub last season, our "secret" weapon to unlock the defences and turn draws into wins. This is how he should be used this season too, the earlier Inzaghi learns that the better.

Last season's stats, players ranked by "minutes per goal contribution":
tuSWxNk.jpg

- kc = Key contributions
- GC = Goal Contributions ie total goals the player has scored or created = goals + assists + kc
- GC% = Percentage of Inter goals the player has scored or created

Exactly. Conte said he wants more goals from him, yeah. But it really doesn't matter who score the goals if the player contributes team scoring goals, whether it's the player or a team mate.

Why not try him at the top of the diamond, with Lautaro and Correa up front.

He did few great passes but started at least two dangerous counter attacks for Sheriff. I won't mind him leaving in January.

He needs to stop trying to dribble and losing the ball in situations where most our players are in the opponent half, the two three times he did it, we could've conceded.

He comes fresh from the bench, can't be making those mistakes. And that's always the case with alexis.

Played his ass off today, wished he had scored, actually disappointed that he came off, think he was too. Good job.

He wasn't happy with the substitution and right so. He needs minutes and lautaro needs a rest.

What was he moaning about when he got subbed? Agree that he should stay on though. Lautaro should have been the one to come off
