GdS: Alexis Sanchez is currently the highest paid player in the Nerazzurri squad. The club are unwilling to continue seeing their highest paid player get injured multiple times per season.

GdS: Inter may make a move for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic in the January window to replace Alexis Sanchez.

Cool story but no buyers yet. I think Inter would be satisfied enough to terminate his contract and get him off the books, so club can sign another player in his place (Jovic/Raspadori or even Insigne in summer).

Felipe Caicedo was linked to us by Tuttoshit (I like the player, only costed 2m, worked with Inzaghi already but he is 34 and has a contract until 2024).

Julien Maynard is actually a very good source. But how could this be possible? David would cost at least 40m (if not more) and we have no money.
We’re about to be saving on a lot of wages I guess, but you’re right, no idea how we’d finance that

Hmm. Selling Lautaro for 80-90mln and reinvest in David for 40mln. It's typical Inter business lately.

GdS: Marotta is seriously considering a move for Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne next summer when his current deal with the Partenopei expires

Marotta has a reputation for looking for value in the market in the form of quality players at the end of their contracts, and Insigne looks to be another player of this type who he is seriously considering making a move for.

There are conflicting reports whether that meeting was about Insigne or D'Ambrosio. Even those who report meeting was about Insigne claim Inter were put off by Insigne high demands considering there are doubts if he could fit in Inzaghi's 3-5-2.

For me the whole Insigne saga makes little sense. Insigne is a winger and we don't really know if he can play successfully as a secondary striker. But let's assume for the sake of the argument he can. How are we going to play in attack? Insigne wouldn't be coming to sit on the bench. Fielding a Lautaro-Insigne attacking duo? Inzaghi doesn't seem to trust Lautaro as a main forward.

As things stand, we have 3 players to fight for 1 position while we have no one to rest Dzeko. Our priority should be a forward either to bench Dzeko or to give him some rest. Only a Lautaro sale could change our priorities.
Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne will soon be out of contract with the club and has been linked with Inter. Beppe Marotta believes these contract situations must be acted on when there is a chance. Speaking to DAZN ahead of the match against Napoli, via FCInter1908:

“I am referring in general, it is up to us managers to grasp the favourable situations. But these situations must be grasped when there are the conditions to do so, it is a question of evaluating them one by one.” - Marotta.

I feel like we might sign an italian forward for free [Belotti/Insigne], what do you guys think?

According to Romano, Inter want to replace Sanchez with a young but established, like Lautaro when he joined Inter, forward next summer. They have held contacts with Adeyemi while they have been following Jonathan David for a while.

And Schira is talking also about Julian Alvarez. Three hot prospects. I didn't watch them too much but all of them look interesting. Adeyemi is doing great in Champions League, Jonathan David was superstar in Belgium and now he's finally scoring in France while Alvarez scores a lot for River Plate.
Any opinions?

No money - no fuck, unfortunately. Previously was reported that we start next season with minus 100m. If we will win Seria A and 1/8 CL maybe will start from minus 50m.
