Actually, I’m not even sure about this. If we are to get a new striker at the moment, he better be able to make a difference vs Liverpool. We all know Lukaku is unlikely to be one. We are not having problems scoring goals against small teams so it’s hard to see where he can fit in.

Kane wants to win titles now and not hope for Conte to make Tottenham winners in the next couple of years. He also saw how players that leave (Eriksen, Walker, Trippier), all win trophies, so he's had enough of waiting. City is his first choice, but i am also pretty sure Chelsea is higher on the list than Tottenham.

I'm pretty sure Lukaku is not that stupid to make this interview random, pretty sure it was planned. During 2 years in Inter he was perfectly professional, no tantrums at all. I'm wondering what is his plan? Does he really want to force his move back to Inter? Strange.
