Villar would be just the right type of player to be 2nd option to Vidal and Brozović. Hopefully the wages are low enough, at least first season here. More useful than current Vecino, Villar was one of Roma's better players last season (which doesn't mean much)

I hate Villar whenever I watched him play but I hate Vecino more. But maybe because I watch the latter more than the former.

Me too, but if the wage of Villar is not very high, we should be able to sell him somewhere for couple of millions.

Honestly Villar is the type of midfielder Inzaghi gets the most out of. However I would say he is more of a Hakan back up then replacement for Vecino or someone who could give rest to Brozovic. Mourinho doesn’t trust him because he’s not defensively sound, similar to the way Conte didn’t trust Eriksen for a long time.

Now that is interesting. Somehow I don't think Digne would be another relevation for us, but getting rid of Vecino would be good in my books.

Everton would still want at least a 20M obligation to buy if it's a loan swap.

They can fuck off. If we are "loaning" them Vecino, it means we are giving the player away for free. They need to reduce the Digne fee and I seriously doubt Marotta will agree to anything other than an option.

Mourinho doesn't like him.He was solid/good last season.
