So, Roma sabotaged Mourinho with crap players, just like his 3 previous clubs did?
This is pathetic attempt to justify him, Brehme.

They didn't sabotage him, they just couldn't do any better.

But saying this is all on Mourinho is absurd nonsense.

I dont blame him for losing to Rube, see how we suffer against them playing at Meazza with our strongest team and they were missing their key players. But that shitshow against B team Bbilan is inexcusable. If you can beat Atalanta away 4-1 your team is not that bad.

I just saying that Mourinho haven't done better than Fonseca or someone else, who would have taken much less wage.

You hire Mourinho to fix your team permanently, not to do better than the previous guy in the short term.

It worked with Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Inter and Manchester United fucked it up, for different reasons.
He left a mark at Tottenham, too, but they demanded fast results which is absurd. It's fucking Tottenham.

I don't think it's going to work with Roma either if they keep wasting their limited funds this way.

So, that was the other point of mine. That he cannot fix or develop or improve the team in a long run, because the only thing he does lately is to complain about lack of players or to whiny about those on his disposal. You are saying that Roma provided him shit players (despite some of them were his request) and they don't have money enough to get good enough players for Mou. In that case, why he has accepted the Roma's job? So, he knew it that Roma do not have strong squad, that they have financial struggles and cannot satisfy all of his demands, but he got the job regardless. Now, he has started to complain about the available material?! This is loser's mentality.

They spent quite a lot this past summer, didn't they? 100 million or so. That's a lot for Roma. I think if they can spend like that for the next few years and get Mourinho the squad that he wants they can definitely reach their objectives (top 4 finish, potential scudetto challenge, coppa italia win, etc.).

Of course they did spend their money horribly this past summer lol but I think if they go down the right path they'll easily be better than Milan for example.

They spent a lot yes, but that was with fresh cash after the takeover, I don't think they are as loaded as Roma fans are hoping even if their owner sort of is.

Their direction at the moment is pathetic and their spending is even more so. They're merely creating a buzz to get them a new owner. They only worry about the stadium project, the squad is secondary and it's just there to be in US based news, who love the Premier League names above all else. Mourinho being there is part of that project, the Tiago Pinto guy and some of the transfers I assume is part of a deal between Mendes and Friedkin.

It's just bound to collapse unless Mourinho genuinely takes over. And is in a position to do so. At the moment he's just there to fill a coaching spot whilst everyone around him builds the team. The American sports model.

So sad to see Jose’s level nowadays is Spurs/Roma/Everton 😩

No chance he gets another top team unless it’s a national one

Do you think that Klopp or Pep would do something extraordinary there?
Yes. It would take time, but like great players, great managers succeed. Let's not forget Mourinho took over a fairly poor 2nd Division Portuguese squad and Porto etc to success.

His style of football is just out of date and irrelevant now and his managerial techniques don't click

Disagree on both parts. Klopp and Pep would do the same as Mou is doing now with Rome. They would fail big time. His style is out of date cause he is coaching now shitty teams. Give him PSG and with Mbappe,Messi and Neymar you'll see how his outdated football works. Last season Tottenham was killing everyone first half of season, killing City,ManU,Kane and Son were unstoppable. After that unfortunately loss against Liverpool shit started between him and players, same old shit like in Real and United. Thats a fact. So how can you say that he is outdated. He is not. He is not what he used to be,but give him job in Real(like Ancelotti who was also "outdated" in fkn Everton) or PSG and his outdated football will be minimum semifinal CL and wining/competing for domestic titles. There is no coach in the world that would bring this Roma team to top4,or that would achieve with this ManU premiership title. Look how bad they are.

Can't forget something that never happened.

Now please tell us more about his football style. Describe it in your own words and tell us which aspect is outdated and what's the current trend.

I may be wrong but thought his club before Porto was 2nd tier

Anyway I'm not doing this with you. It's frustrating walls of text with a lot of deus ex brehme. I don't give a shit enough to get into it with you. Have fun.

Nope, you just keep proving that your understanding of the sport comes from tabloid journalisms and the only thing you can go in-depth in is payroll stuff.

Otherwise you'd be able to BACK YOUR OWN WORDS!
