Juve missing on top 4 is important but not more important than Inter winning Scudetto.
Juventus missing out on Champions League could potentially send them to a proper banter era. No European football or Conference League at best, losing to Armenian or Norwegian teams.

Us not winning this season, besides a bit unlikely at this stage, may be bad, but it doesn't remove our platform to become the next dominant force.

And it's not one way or the other. Milan winning the derby doesn't matter a lot to our Scudetto chances. Juventus dropping points from teams ahead of them matters a lot in their Top 4 race. If they win, they're essentially on their path to be a lock for top 2 and Milan will give 150% against us because if they fail they will spiral into Roma & Lazio territories.

Milan also gets to play Napoli away (they lost at home), Atalanta at home, Lazio away and Fiorentina at home. Those aren't guaranteed points for them by any means.

Draw is good but even a Juve win. We could honestly lose the scudetto to everyone if Juve becomes a problem, they are really far from us. Can't imagine Juve winning almost every game till the end of season tbh, It would mean Inter losing 3-4 games and Juve winning all remaining games.

I know where you are coming from, but I couldn't listen to the milan fans if they won the league. Hoping for a draw

Not to worry, the measly Scudetto is already beneath them;

Despite the standings being close, I don’t see us winning this year, especially with the injuries to the defense and the major gaps in our front 3 (Brahim, RW, etc).

Winning this year would clearly be nice, but having started watching football properly during Carletto’s Milan era (which is suspect is similar for many of us here), the Scudetto has been hugely devalued in my eyes. Especially because the league isn’t considered to be of a high level by 99% of people interact with, who are sadly EPL fans.

A deep CL run would mean a lot more to me as a supporter than a Scudetto

the league officials must feel really stupid right now, cause they know they cant give Milan a bullshit penalty vs Juve. If it was any other team I am sure Milan gets 2 shitty penalties.

I don't really watch milan, but if one error from the ref can cause all this mess, it really makes you think how easy the refs have been going on them :lol:

We are used to Refs stealing our points. A mistake against us and we are like "here we go again". Its much harder for Milan or Juve fans. When there is a mistake against them, its national headlines... even the referee sheds a tear or two.

Look at this in perspective... here the mistake in question is the ref not playing advantage and awarding a freekick to Milan. Thats it. LOL. At Inter there is less drama even when one of our players is given an unjust red card or a wrongful penalty is given against us.

Wonder if it was Juve in first place instead of inter in same situation, would média, pundits, and referees be so sympathetic to the situation?

This appears to be more about Inter remaining at the top of the standing- the effect- rather than what actually happened.

Funny coincidence: Last season we regained the first place from Milan on Matchday 22, having defended it this Matchday from them. Last season we beat Lazio to take over after Milan lost to...

... Spezia :D
