When you are looking for a striker for 6 months, you don't have many options. Thuram can't be considered since it'll be a longer deal. It's obvious we have a long term target in Scamacca.

Correa is a benchmark only in terms that we had some limited funds and decided to go after him. Tammy would be a much better choice, considering that he could have been inserted in the Lukaku's deal.

Again, would we want to do a deal just because it could be better than Correa?

Much rather Keita Balde for 5m than both of them for any sizable amount of money.

If one wants to improve the team, one needs to attract better players. Since we don't have power enough to get Halaand, Vlahovi, Mbappe or some other expensive and quality player, we are going after Zapatas, Correas, Scamacca's and ...Tammys. For me, the latter would have been the best choice amongst the others, considering the age, injury prone and fitting to the system.

interesting compilation of Caicedo's late goals:

impressive stuff. Most of the goals were difficult to score and he was able to do it under the pressure.

And I think most of the yellow cards he get in Serie A are because of putting his shirt off after scoring the late goals :LOL:
