Perisic moving on is a bit sad as he’s been fantastic for us but we’ve found almost the perfect replacement. Plus Gosens is younger and on half the salary that Perisic makes. For what Gosens brings to the table, his transfer fee is worth every euro. Shrewd piece of business again by Marotta.

This guy is maybe not the best dribbler and crosser in the word, but he knows how to score the goals. It's like having another striker in the squad. Great aerial threat and I love his sliding goals.
Looking forward for his goals for Inter.

Not in reality. It's just funny how one of the pif people were talking down italian football when they were explaining why they chose newcastle and we just swept up one of their targets on better terms because he didn't want to go to newcastle.

I don’t even see why Perisic can’t play as a RWB. He is primarily right footed
Exactly! If I remember correctly, in the first season here under Mancini, he played RW at the beginning. And in Bundesliga (Dortmund and Wolfsburg) also.

I know it's early but would you guys start him over Perisic when fit?

A healthy and in form Gosens is a monster LWB, compared to Perisic, who is having a good, if not great season. This is also no surprise as Perisic has been playing this position for only 1,5 season... but to anwser the question. Yes of course. Do i think it will happen? No. Gosens will first need to get healthy, which will take another month, then get into the system, which will also take time and when he's fully 100%, it will already be end of the season. So we probably wont be seeing an in form Gosens until next season, when he will for sure be a starter, while this season he'll probably start some games vs weaker teams.

Gosens would have the chance to steal the show immediately despite coming off the bench since Perisic is unable to play in a complete 90-minute.

Time to examine that nasty hamstring injury that has been keeping Robin outside the pitch since 03/10/2021:

Medical underway. Reports say his return is expected mid or even end of February...

Someone please remind me: who was the last player Inter signed injured?

Guarin for sure. Usually I feel like wingbacks always come with problems and they can't start straight away, like Vrsaljko, he started 2 games and was then injured for 5 Serie A games and the first two CL matches

I think the question was more about who was last injured for their medical?
