For anyone interested, LFC line up.... Allison, TAA,VVD, Robbo, Konate (not Matip!) MF Fabinho, Thiago and Elliot ( a surprise!), Mane Salah and Jota up top
Harvey Elliot? Is that a disrespect move or a glaring opportunity for Vidal to smash someone all over

Massive respect.
Thank you mate. A couple of lads I know went to the last games we played against you. They go all over Europe, they had nothing but good words for how they were treated by the Inter fans. Inside and outside the stadium. So I'm just hoping for a respectful game, and one of us to win and deserve that win. I obviously hope it's us lol, but hopefully a 'deserved' win for one or the other. A draw would do me though tbh. Enjoy your night mate, take it easy and Gnite, I'll leave it for Inter fans now.

I was fckin delighted when you beat Chelsea that time. Pity you're not at full strength tonight, we are, for a change! Good to see some belief on here tbh. I just hope it's a decent game, with goals that aren't controversial or involve referees debatable decisions, that goes for both sides btw.

Like both the 2007-8 games, heh?

These are the special nights you live for as a fan. Every one of my best memories of going the match for 30+ years a season ticket holder, is made up of European nights, under the lights, not winning the 1st division/EPL. These nights are nights to savour for both sets of fans, here's hoping it's a spectacle! And the team who deserve to win, DOES win, which ever team win, if one does win that is!
Indeed they are. We've missed this... Some kids here don't even know what this feeling is!

I think there midfield is very weak, Elliot debut at 18, Thiago isn't the same player and Fabinho, well he's a talent sure but he's no Brozo. Even without Barella if Hakan plays his game I'd pick out midfield every time.

I am more scared about the options on the bench. Diaz, Firmino, Keita. Players who can change a game. We only have Alexis.

Maybe not an ideal time or place to say, but Inter fans, along with several other Italian fanbases, generally like Liverpool for... 1985. Ugly truth moment.
Curva Nord has been chanting "Liverpool" for decades during Juventus games just to spite them.

And now it's become a thing against Milan fans for the 2005 final.

Liverpool fans have been clashing with Roma and Juventus fans a lot in the 80s so since Inter fans didn't encounter this they have developed a soft spot.

So yeah, this respect stems mostly from a very cynical and crappy situation rather than anything else. But Inter fans generally are respectful of opposition as long as they don't give them a reason. But I'm pretty sure that Liverpool fans were met with a lot of love from our ultras for the Juventus backstory and maybe slightly more from the average fan for the Milan final.

So, I rarely comment, but on this occasion, I feel Inter can use all the positive vibes. Stuck cooking pizzas today, so I’ll be watching from a propped up phone. Barella or not, it was always gonna be a hard match. I only hope that his absence motivates everyone to work a little harder. Let’s see (for the umpteenth time) if we have a little extra magic today. Forza Inter!!!!!!!

Our trash pitch to help, ever so slightly, to disrupt those spoiled EPL cunts.
